I just feel like everything is moving in slow motion lately. September went by SOOOO slowly. It doesn't help that I've been as sick as a dog since mid August, and I'm still just as sick (even though everyone tells me it should be over soon, I feel even worse.) It could me that I'm a school teacher and September always goes slowly, but I felt this way in August too and as a teacher that usually goes by quickly. I'm kind of glad it's going slow because I know that before we know it we will have a baby and our lives will be flipped upside down in feedings and other nightly rituals. But I was just wondering if anyone else's pregnancy felt like this?

Yep - they all did. It seems to go slower the more you have. And the last trimester is the slowest.

Try to keep active, get lots of sleep, drink HEAPS of water ( this is really important because if you dehydrate it can cause problems in labour and with your birth)

Best thing to do is find a mothers group or online chatroom for preggos to have a yarn too. They know how you feel and wont get bored listening to you moan a bit.

It's an uncomortable SLOOOOOOWWWW time and no-one but a mum or pregnant women really understands.

Seriously - get LOTS of sleep.

I found with my pregnancies that when I was in a routine of sleep - the baby was in the same pattern when it was born and had settled a bit.

When the morning sickness kicks in and it is really bad like you are stating it really doesn't leave you with the greatest taste in your mouth so to speak. Some women don't have it that bad some just get sick at their stomach but I like you was really bad and all I could think is oh god is this ever going to end. But if and when the morning sickness subsides you will start to get excited about the pregnancy. For about 3 months it will be yeah lets get baby clothes and baby stuff. Then the last couple of months comes and you think oh man I feel like I have been pregenant for years is the due date ever going to arrive. And when it does all else just fades away.
So it is normal to feel the way you do. Keep ritz crackers handy and eat toast for breakfast, until then. Good luck!!!! And Congratulations!!!!!!
