I got pregnant last June. In August I had a miscarriage at 5 weeks. I had a D&C (they used a suction device to take everything out, they didn't scrape). I just got pregnant. We were planning to travel on October 25th. Is ok to travel. Bare in mind that my husband and I are healthy and the miscarriage was a normal incident that could happen since it was my first baby.

If you did or are going to, are you completely into it as a total right thing to do, or out of obligatoin because of the emotional and health benefits? (good for you, either way!) If you aren't or haven't, how do you justify it if there is no physical reason you cannot do it, when the World Health Organization has left no doubt that it is not only healthy, but VITAL to a baby's developement physically, emotionally, and in every other way? I feel some things just should not be a mere 'choice', where if you don't do it, everyone just says, "Okay, cool". We are so out of touch with nature, and confused about sex and afraid of our bodies in their natural form in this country, that some will deny their baby the healthiest possible start - not to mention the BONDING experience - because they are not taught how absolutely important it is. I do no judge. I have friends who have bottle-fed. I do not want to be inflammatory. I just think it is so very sad.

I have heard that if your mother did not have stretch marks, you are less likely to have them. I made it through my first pregnancy without stretch marks, but now I am only 30 weeks and i have a feeling I won't be so lucky this time due to the way that I am growing and the itching on my abdomen.I'm using mederma and cocoa butter to help prevent. Any other suggestions?

I am deciding on whether or not to have my son start sleeping in his own room yet. He just turned 6mths old today. He has been sleeping in his crib in our room for about 2 mths now (before that he slept in a bassinette, then our bed because he initially hated the crib). He sleeps for 10-11 hrs a night, with occasional waking. I am also going to take off the bumper pads because I am worried about the safety hazards when he is alone in his room.

I am worried that he will be up all night or not sleep well in his own room. We just feel that it might be time to reclaim our room again. Plus his father works night shifts and has to sleep in there in the day and it is disturbing for him when I put the baby down for naps and he doesn't go to sleep right away! Of course, he already wears earplugs.

Will it be too traumatic for the little one or is it now or never?!

my doctor has suggested that i have the implant as i occasionally forget to take the pill and have recently had a pregnancy scare. i was just woundering how is it put in and taken out again and does it hurt? and does it involve injections? and how is it taken out ? and how long does it last? and do any of you recomend it?

I started my pregnancy at 130 lbs. And 5' 5" tall. I am now In week 10 and weigh 116. I am trying to eat as much as I can but for the longest time I couldn't keep anything down.......In fact my morning sickness is back in full force this morning.........what should I do? I don't want to harm my baby. When I told my doctor about it he just said "that happens" that's not good enough for me! I don't know what to do..I can't afford to lose anymore weight. Does anyone have any home remedies for morning sickness besides crackers? They don't work!

Does your pee change when you are pregnant? I'm not asking for myself but i was trying to remember when i was pregnant for my daughter if my urine changed colors. I thought i heard somewheres that your urine changes to white/clear when your pregnant.

ok so I was a couple days late on my period I was cramping really bad but nothing was coming then at like midnight (I usually get my period in the morning) I had some brown spotting its been two days and its not very heavy but I still have some bleeding. I've been having cramping still and I never have cramps! I've been having some other symptoms too like feeling nauseous sometimes(last night I felt sick for hours), frequency in urination, moodswings, headaches, I have no idea whats going on with me. I've taken three tests, all negative, I took one Monday at midnight, Wed at midnight, and yesterday, it wasn't a clear negative it was blurry, I can't hold it in the stream for 10 secs likeyou are supposed to cause I pee so often now that I don't have enough to pee that long so I think the tests could be wrong. I have just the little bit of spotting like when I wipe but its not like a normal period. The last time I had sex was 3 weeks ago.
