if you are carrying low its a boy and high its a girl.. that one works all the time i think. Everyone i know that carried low had all boys and everyone high they all had girls.
If its just a pure ball out front its usually a boy too! I suggest doing the one with the ring and the necklace. heard of that one? I was watching a show about it on tv the other day and they rate it 10/10 for accuracy. It has worked with everyone i know. You get your wedding ring and a necklace, thread the ring onto the necklace and get someone to hold it still over your tummy. If it goes side to side then its a GIRL and in circles, its a BOY! Some people say its the other way around, but i searched and searched and its definately side to side for girl and circles for a boy! Cant wait to do it when i have my 2nd baby. its fun to keep guessing isnt it!

If it is so true how do you explain carrying twins of opposite sex?!?!?
I have twins (boy & girl) & I carried neither high or low, I carried as you would for the stage of pregnancy i was at!
I was always getting people saying "oh, you're carrying low, you must be having a boy" & "you're bump is only at the front & not all the way around, you must be having a girl". They soon shut up when I said I was having both!
They are old wives' tales which means they aren't true!

:-D "Carrying low, its about 50% accurate", very true, very clever. I can tell any pregnant woman with 50% accuracy whether she is carrying a boy or girl. How high, low, or out front a woman carries depends on the positioning of the foetus, the positioning of the placenta, and the bone and soft tissue structure of the woman.
Think about it, why would the presence of female reproductive organs vs male reproductive organs in the foetus change the shape of mum-to-be's belly? A little boy would have to be pretty well endowed for this to have any effect.

Those are old wives' tales and have nothing to do with the gender of the baby.
I've carried high and out front all throughout my pregnancy and i'm having a boy. Some women carry low and are having a girl. It all just depends upon how your body is going to carry the weight of the baby.

everyone is different in how they carry there babies, i carried the same with all 3 of mine all front from right under my bust to right down and i had 2 boys and 1 girl, they really are all old wives tales the only way to be sure is to have a 3d scan which can be very expensive, the baby will soon be hear then you will know what you have got. best of luck.

I had a little girl 2 1/2 years ago. My hips got really wide and I carried her high. I am currently 30 wks pregnant with a little boy. My hips have not spread as much and I am carrying him low and directly out in front ( he's already really heavy!). My guess would be that everyone is a little different.

A more accurate way of predicting sex of baby. When babies heart rate is being monitored, ask what the rate is. 155 or less, is a boy, 155 or more is a girl. I was told this by a midwife friend of my sisters. All hospital staff actually will deny it,s accuracy, howver, in my case it was correct every(4) time. (this was before the days when they would tell you the sex from the scan)
Not sure what you make of a speed of 155.

i carried low with both of mine and was the same shape throughout both and.......... first was a boy and my second was a girl so it is just an old wife`s tale the same as the needle and thread and having cravings for different sorts of food.
