I would definitely try the RICE, BREAD, BANANAS diet like they tell you to use if you are fluish. These foods are easier to keep down, and absorb faster. Also, make sure you dr. has prescribed prenatal vitamins for you. If this continues, and you beginto lose more weight I insist on making an appt. to see your dr. again, in some cases they can prescribe something to help your tummy out. Good Luck, YOU'RE ALMOST THROUGH IT!!! (well the morning sickness that is!) : )

Your doctor could have given you a vitamin B12 shot and it would have cleared up your morning sickness. If he didn't know this or take the time to tell you, I'd look for a better doctor.
Even better than the shot though is nutritional yeast. This is NOT cooking yeast. It's available in health food stores (and Whole Foods in bulk). It is yellow flakes or powder, tastes really good mixed in with any kind of veggies or on popcorn and is so high in B12 it does everything a shot can do. Take as much as you want. Your body knows what you need and you can't overdose on it. It works same day you take it. If you can find a midwife to ask about it, she'll tell you more.
Good luck with the morning sickness, pregnancy in general and, of course, your wonderful baby!!

If crackers don't work, nothing will. Try liquids, carbonated colorless ones are best, or maybe fruits. Just a bite or two at a time. Try eating small amounts throughout the day. If you feel better at night, then eat at night. I brown bagged economy size Maalox with my second pregnancy. It gave me temporary relief. Also try taking your vitamins a half at a time, spread out. Don't worry, this is natural and the baby will get what it needs from you. If anyone is left lacking it will be your body, not the baby's. And you will have plenty of time to renew your strength before the birth. God bless you, I feel your pain sister. Congratulations!

Definitely find another GP or Ob/Gyn.
Whilst ginger teas and peppermint teas are a popular herbal remedy for nausea, and yes morning sickness, taken in high quantities ginger and peppermint have both been linked to miscarriage.
My friend found that salt and vinegar chips/crisps helped her with morning sickness, but this made my sister vomit when she had morning sickness.
The best thing seems to be try different foods to see what works for you. Try foods that when not pregnant you didn't like, you may be surprised that you now do.
Here is a link that can provide you with some more ideas:

I wish and your bub all the best, Kat.

I think morning sickness is just a normal part of pregancy. I didn't have it but I had the runs instead. I just think you are doing the right thing: eating what you can and just going with it. I know the cracker thing doesn't work but that's about all you can do since you can't take any meds. Good luck.

Eat very tiny meals every 3 hours, this seemed to work wonders for me. Avoid greasy foods though. They not only help you gain weight fast, but they're very bad for you. If you keep losing weight instead of gaining, consider getting a Home Nurse because you may need to be on an IV to get the proper nutrition without vomitting. Good luck.

I have the same problem I'm about 12 weeks and I have lost almost 15 pounds since I got pregnant my doctor finally put me a a pill called Finergan which is for nausuea and I'm slowly gain weight. They told me to eat small amounts of foods every 2 hours. I couldn't even keep liquids down forever. You have a long way to go. Keep your stress down and rest alot. I would seriously talk to your Dr. about them giving u PHENERGAN(that's the correct spelling). It has helped me a great deal. This is my 3 child and I had to use it with my 2 one too.

I think you have every right to be concerned. You need to get another opinion from a doctor. I lost 12 pounds and was hopitalized, was 118 went to 106. I had hyperemesis. Have they said anything about that to you? http://www.hyperemesis.org/hyperemesis-gravidarum/
It says a loss of 5% body weight you've lost closer to 12%! This could mean your baby isn't getting proper nutrients and that you could be severely dehydrated. Check out the link and educate yourself on it. Then take the information to your doctor and insist on help. Hyperemesis is potentially life threatening on you and the baby. Good luck, I hope you feel better.

That does happen to a lot of women with sever morning sickness. It happened to me in my first pregnancy. Eat small/frequent meals with lots of complex carbs (they ease your stomach and help keep food down). Also make sure that while you are eating a lot, make it nutritious things, take your prenatal vitamins and in a few weeks (more or less) your nasea will probably subside. Stress the importance of this to your doc. though, he needs to know how worried you are about it. Good luck, I'm sure you'll be fine and your baby is fine.
