i had sex without anything on the 6th of this month and i usually get my monthly in between the tenth and twentyth of each month. i want to know how soon should get checked to see if i'm pregnant or not? but i went to the bathroom afterwards but could i still get pregnant or not?

I'm 13 weeks, and I have thee worst cold I've ever had in my life! I can't sleep, my nose is so stuffed up. I have to breathe through my mouth which makes me throw up. What are you allowed to take while pregnant for this? I can't get ahold of my doc to ask....thanks!:)

He basically is home because I have a better more stable job. He messed around in his twenties and didn't finish school so his job situations haven't been good at all. Now he complains because staying home with the baby is a lot of work. We take turns keeping her at night and I help out immediately when I get home from work. I know how much work a baby is because I stayed home with her for 5 months. (I just went back to work so he's been doing the stay at home dady thing for a month.)

not to make this ?long,but for the past week I have back & abdo pain every morning, yesterday & today the pain last all day
my breast are full and tingly, I am tired, sleepy
and noted that I have purchase a digital clear blue ovulation kit
which I start using since the 28th of 09 & never gotten a positive result so I presume that I did not ovulate so in my mind it is impossible to be preg
have doc to see doc on tues
for now I would like to know is their a possibility that I might be preg

My friend has a 16 month old son, and when he is mad, he thrashes his head and bangs it against whatever is near him (table, wall, etc.). Ok, so I can understand that, he is mad and having a fit. But he bangs his head when he is not mad too. Like we will be in the car, and he will be looking out the window, banging his head on the back of the car seat. We will be in the house, and he will be sitting on the couch playing with a toy, and he will bang his head against the back of the couch. He will be sitting in someone's lap, and he will bang his head against their chin, shoulder, whatever. He is not mentally challenged or have any medical condition why he would do this. He is a normal 16 month boy, smart as a whip too. Why does he bang his head like that? Anyone know?

im a new parent and we are planning on taking our daughter to michigan for christmas (she'll be 9months old) but we've never taken here anywhere more than a few hours away before. and i'm really unprepared for how to do that. we will either be driving or flying. obviously i like to plan things in advance and i was just thinking...what i would take with...and what i wouldnt...any ideas?

I am 14 weeks pregnant. I can definately feel the baby moving alot! As a matter of fact the doc. didn't believe me when I saw him this week, but when he but the doppler on my belly I looked at him and he looked at me and he said at the same time as I did that the baby moved(thats for skeptics) but a few days ago I started having cramping down in the vag. area (this is 3rd preg. so i know cramping from stertching pains) I was almost in tears. I've been real stressed over lots of things lately. Now also when the baby moves it actually seems to hurt(not uncomfortable,hurt) anyone else having this? This pregnancy has been different but in a good way not sick not hungry ..nothing.

Around 9 months, "they" say that babies gradually eat less formula and eat more solids. Our daughter seems like she is perfectly content with just formula and little tiny meals and snacks. She is 8 months now and she drinks about 35 ounces of formula a day and 3 meals and 2 snacks. Her meals consist of the equivalent of about 1/4 peice of toast or 3 grapes or up to 2 ounces of applesauce for example. Snacks are like 4 cheerios or the sort.
She spits out any food we try to put in her mouth as she wants to self feed, so she's not getting much.
Do you think that she will cut back on the amount of formula so that by a year she will have cut back to the 3 cups of milk with the solid meals and snacks?
Any suggestions?

Before anyone goes off on me, this is just from my experience. Whenever I go to any public place, the kids that are running around the store, getting into stuff, yelling back at their parents, knocking stuff off the shelfs, being loud, are dressed like little ragamuffins, seem to belong to the parents who are dressed in old ratty clothes, look like their hair hasn't been washed in a week, and are pulling out their food stamps to pay for their groceries. The parents that are dressed clean and neat, have their hair groomed and are paying for their own groceries, seem to have well behaved children.
Please don't take me as judgemental, cause this is exactly what I see when I go to the grocery store every single time.
