Its normal to feel a little awkward and embarrassed, when caught doing some thing like masturbating.
You don't say if they said any thing or just walked off, when they realised what you were doing? Hopefully they said nothing.
But I do know it is normal part of growing up, and you should not feel guilty about it. Try to make sure your not in a position to be caught next time, try the bathroom, or make sure your bedroom door is closed.
Hopefully the awkward feelings for all concerned will soon go.

Your mom is probably embarrassed for catching you in the act, that's probably why she hasn't said anything. She can't quite get the picture out of her head, but it will be okay.
