Yes. Look on the bottle and see if you can find a code or expiration date. If unsure of the date, take the bottle to your pharmacist. He will be able to tell you if they are still good.

as with any medication they are only good for up to a year after script date. BUT the longer they sit the weaker they become..
I wouldn't use them NOW if they were prescribed for a previous pregnancy.
If u are pregnant and cant get to a DR. and NEED Prenatals there are some you can buy over the counter.. or u could always take Flinstone vitamins. that's what i had to take when the prenatals made me sick.

Yes they do. If you bought them without a prescription there will be an expiration date on the bottle. If by prescription and unit dosed there will be a date on the blister. if loose in the Rx bottle throw away after 1 year. Oh yes the stronger they smell the more likely they are bad.

They definately do --- all medication has an expiration date. Whilst some lose their effieciency / potency others can make you very ill.
Just buy some new ones so you know you're getting the correct amount of milligrams and not over or underdosing.

Yes. All vitamins come with an expiry date.
If you are anything like me though, I tend to keep packets and throw away the boxes - the boxes tend to have the expiry date on.
I would just buy new ones if I were you.
Good luck :-)

Prenatal vitamins are like any other medication, they have an expiration date. Expired medications often loss their effectiveness and some medications become toxic.
