Ok there is this guy named Cody,he wrote me this BIG letter telling me how much he liked me and he drew a picture of me and dreamed of me.I mean he is nice,sweet,and funny but he has a few flaws that I just cant look past and get over:He is a lttle overweight and wears glasses.Do you really think I should date him?PLEASE HELP!

his flaws are that he wears glasses and weighs a bit. Thats kinda shallow hun. I mean, what about YOUR flaws!(like looking at appearance so much!)

I would say that at your age, just being friends might be better, especially if you don't want to look past his flaws. Develop a friendship with him, and then you will see if you are compatible enough that the 'flaws' just become part of who he is. If not, dating probably isn't a good idea. If so, then you may find yourself dating him without really even thinking about it. Either way, you will have a friend first, and that is the best relationship you can have.

Only if you really want to.If he has some big flaws, then dont. But you really have to ask yourself can i do better that this guy? If you can go on. If you dnt the you have some self esteem issues. And don't date just because everybody else is dateing. What sense does that make?

Sure go out on a(meaning one) date with him. What could that hurt? Make it a public place until you know him better. Let him know nicely that he's gonna have to shape up if you are gonna go out again. Sometimes we have to accept a little constructive criticism in order to better ourselves. I don't believe in unconditional Love. There are contacts or more stylish glasses out there. Give the guy a makeover.

If you don't really care for a serious relationship make sure that he know this so he wont think that you are leading him on if you decide to date him, Go out have fun remember dating is dating u r not going to get married or otherwise, (Hmm?) Since you asked this question yesterday, I will give you the same answer as I did yesterday.
You ARE too young! (Yesterday. she said she was only 12 years old)
At twelve, kids still have "baby fat," which may disappear during puberty. The glasses can be replaced with contacts as he grows up.

don't be so shallow...not all the people of the world look like calvin klein underwear models...I have dated guys prettier than me and it was a bust...dated guys less attractive but with great sense of humor and fun loving and it was great..he too was a little over weight..but we worked some off

u should give him a chance, u could never know, u might end up falling for him in the end. but be careful it's sometimes the sweet ones, who turn out to be jerks.

yes u should! ik u have probly heard this a million times but looks dont matter!! in the long run-if your boyfriend is an a*sshole then u will probly not enjoy the relationship at all!!!
