Anyone ever had or know someone who had a blood test that came back negative and she was really pregnant? Or does anyone know that there are two types of blood test and one is only just as accurate as a urine test? Tell me your stories please? I'm 23 ttc. neg blood test, two months late for my period, showing many symptoms of pregnancy, off birth control 4 months?

Are you a diabetic? If so some people get false negatives when on incullin in high doses. If so a sonogram is really the only way to find out.

Blood tests are usually more accurate than urine. How long has it been since the test? If it has been more than a couple of weeks,..you may have recently become pregnant. The horomone HCG is produced by the presence of a placenta. Wait another week and test again. Chances are that if you did not become pregnant right away,..now your hormones are out of wack. Stress will only complicate the problem. Your mind can play tricks on your body. It could be that you want so so badly to be pregnant that your body feels like it is. Stop trying so hard. Forget about it and like nature take over.

I had 3 false negative urine tests, but the blood test was accurate. Maybe you should ask them to do another blood test.

They probably recommend the blood had clotted formerly it may get to the lab. somebody could have shaken it too lots or dropped it. It doesnt give some concept to your well being in any respect. regrettably the clotted pattern is ineffective to the lab so as that they could take a clean pattern to be despatched off.
