The little girl I babysit is really sweet and really nice but she never lets me put her to bed. Her parents sometimes get home really late at night and I don't want them to have to put her to bed AND take me home. Whenever I say "time for bed" she gets all whiney and refuses. I don't want her to hate me for it! I am afraid she will get mad at me and then her parents will fire me.

How can I get her to bed without a hassle? Without her hating me? Without her pitching a fit?

My husband and I have custody of the kids... I love them and view them as my own... no probs there. The kids love and adore me (yeah quite sickening because our family dynamic is amazing) It is frustrating for the kids as well as myself when dealing with schools, doctors, anyone... I couldn't even get my step daughters ears pierced... because I didn't give birth... I have been in their world since 99 and had the step mother title officially in 2001. and it is ridiculous that my kids(step) have to stand up for me because they are just as tired of having to explain that I am as much involved in decisions as their father or mother. Dang Brothers Grimm and their stinking fairy tales... not all step mothers are bad... I just feel that step parents should have rights. I know it can be complicated ( I came from a split home) but my step mother never had the complicatons I am having... My kids and husband arent the problem it seems to be everyone else. Should step parents have more rights

Hey okay my last real NORMAL period was on Aug 2. I then had sex with my boyfriend on Aug 16th and once again on Aug 22. Well, a lil while after the 16th I started feeling really sick. I got light headed, felt really sick to my stomach but never threw up, i got odd tingling in my stomach (i know that wouldn't be a baby b/c it would be far too soon!), really odd pains as if i was about to start AF and so on....Well my AF was due Aug 31 so i was waiting....On Aug 28..i got my AF, or so i thought, it was exreamly too light although for me!! It was bright red and brownish discharge towards the end!! It only lasted 5 days though and ended on Sept 2nd (my normal periods are WAY heavy and last 7-8 days so this was really odd) . I went in to the local clinic to get a pregnancy test Sept 6th and the test was Negative!! I then clamed down and forgot all about this pregnancy scare. Its now Sept 10th and im still dealing with these symptoms..: I get light headed, sick to my stomach but i never throw up, i get pains in my sides and lower stomach, i been extremely moody I cry about the stupidest things and get so mad over nothing, ive been really sleep and tired and so on. I also have been getting white discharge (t.m.i) but if i was pregnant i would be about 5 weeks? is it even possible to be 5 weeks pregnant and get a negative?!?! Plz advise!! My doctor app. isnt until Sept 22nd and im trying to clam my self down until then lol.

~~~ I dnt knw if this will help any, but i also had intercourse again Sept 7-8 (it was in the morning so i dnt knw which day it was really lol )

I'm not high risk or anything, but my last sonogram was around the18-20th week, but that was to check for any abnormalities...when am I supposed to get a regular sonogram again to check how many pounds the baby is and how long he is? I'm 25 weeks and 3 days. people have told me that I look like I'm about 7 or 8 months not 6.
I started aout at 93 pounds before I got pregnant, and now I'm 120 ounds... I'm 5ft 1in tall....I feel like I'm gaining to fast..and to much...either that or my baby is going to be a big baby...

I'm 17 years old...so to be writing this question is very scary and surreal for me. I never get my period on a regular schedule. One month it may be the second week when i get my period and the next month it might be the fourth week. SO i can never tell when it's going to come. A week ago today, my boyfriend and I were fooling around (fully naked) and his penis was partially pushed into my vagina(hardly at all), now i'm freaking out because i know you can get pregnant from close contact and although he didn't ejaculate into me or anything...there is still pre-***. On Wednesday I started to bleed, so i thought i had my period but it was lighter than normal, it eventually became heavier but still not as heavy as normal. It looked normal in color and everything and when i took the tampon out it was full but that was after about a 6 hour period of time. 3 days later it stopped. Normally i have my period for 4 days. Could it be implanation bleeding? Also...I have had eating issues for 4 yr

Hey! It's Lizzy!!

I watch two young kids every other Saturday. One boy, eleven, and one girl, nine. I've known them for seven years, and we are very close, but I remember that when I was younger, I always looked up and idolized my babysitter, Jennifer. I have always dreamed of being like her...does anyone have any ideas on how to become the babysitter that everyone will love? I want them to look up to me, the way I did to Jennifer.

I have a daughter about to be 4. She's incredibly bright, willfull and bossy. I need direction on helping her to learn discipline, confidence and respect without tearing her down. Would love to speak to someone about her/us specifically but don't think we're at the 'therapy stage'. Maybe I'm wrong. Ideas/input anyone?

My son is seven years old. I was incarserated in prison when my girlfriend found out she was pregnant. I guess while I was in prison she got arrested for possesion/distributing illegal substances. Her parents took the custody of my son, but didn't adopt him. They now want to adopt him (she is still in prison and doesn't want him) My parents paid child support to her parents while I was in prison and since I've been out I've paid child support. Her parents still want to adopt...is there anything I can do to prevent this from happening? Shouldn't I get full custody of my child? I cannot afford a lawyer and I'm not sure what I shoud do? What steps should I be taking? I think the trouble I've gotten into really makes me a "bad parent" in the courts eyes.

oks me and my g/f have been having sex now for about 2 months... she's 15 and she's 4 days late for her period (5 days tomorrow) we always use condoms but she's not on the pill... HELP PLEASE

please like tell me what to tell her? what r the chances of getting pegnant when uing condoms that have not broken fallen off etc... plus i feel that she has been under stress lately with assignments, friends and she's changed her eating habits from not much to more... also if the worst case scenario happens when to signs such as breast tenderness etc start happening?

(I'm asking for a friend of mine, she doesn't use this) my friend is 3 months late etting her period, all the pregnancy tests she took came out negative. she can't go to the doctor because she has mcdonald's medical coverage, and it only covers her if she is sent to the emergency room... any ideas i'm really concerned for her.... and yes she wants to be pregnant!

My most fertile days were between the 20th-24. I had sex on the 20th and the 22nd. My period is not due until the 16th, however when I went to the bathroom this morning when I wiped I had some dark blood. Could this be implantation bleeding? Is this a good sign or a bad sign?? I know that the ovulation dates were correct because I use fertilityfriend and I took an ovulation test just to be sure. I have no other signs of my period except sore breasts and that has been going on for about a week. I usually feel bloated and have lower back pain during my period and I have none of that. If it is implantation bleeding when should I take a preganacy test??

Before my husband and I were married, we decided that if we had children together, I would stay home to care for them. This is my second marriage, I have one child from my first marriage. I had terrible daycare experiences with my first, and I would rather not have more kids, than to put them in one of those places. We just had a baby, and I had been staying home, but now my husband decides, he doesn't want me spending money on my older child. He actually cursed me out in public for buying school supplies for my oldest. He makes more than enough money, (he's a software developer), we don't struggle to pay bills, we can actually afford for me not to work. Then he tells me his parents don't really approve of me staying home either, so I need to go back to work.

I feel as though he tricked me into having this new baby, with the promise that I could take care of him myself, and now that he's here and I have no choice, back to work for me. I've since refused to have any more children.
