The bottle says they should be 1 or 2 years, but I talked to my daughter's doctor when she was sick, and pedialyte is fine for infants and toddlers. I was told to give her as much as she'll drink. My daughter was 3 weeks old the first time she had it. Gerber makes a VERY handy on-the-go called LiquiLytes- they come in little packets of powder and you add 6 oz of water to his/her bottle with the packet of powder and shake it up. I found those to be the best, especially for on-the-go times.

as a mother of seven the correct age for giving pedialyte depends on the age and weight of the child but if the baby is about 3months then go ahead and them some about 4 oz.

My little boy was about 3 weeks old. He started throwing up and had caught the flu from my cousin's little girl that had come over to visit. The doctor had me mix some with his formula.

I gave it to my daughter when she was 2 months for a bad case of diarrhea. You should just flip the box over and read the label.
