Being 3 months late, with no sign of pregnancy, could indicate that something is wrong. A lot of things, stress, nutritional deficiencies, can cause late periods.

Your friend needs to find a low-cost clinic (check with the city/county health department - she may qualify for low or no-cost medical exams) and get checked out for medical problems. If she has one that is causing her late period, she doesn't really want to get pregnant until it is resolved - it could have a negative effect on her baby.

I went to our local health department and they gave me a preg test. It costs very little to nothing. They charge based on what income is in the household. They will advise her on what to do next and also she may qualify for pregnancy medicaid and they also fill out all of that paperwork as well.

if the tests say negative i would probably say she's not pregnant, it has been known that some women who really want to be pregnant can actually have phantom pregnancies, hence the missed periods, just tell her to relax and she will become pregnant when the time is right for her body

haveher go to the health department they will give her a pregnancy test if they say she isn't then she needs to go to an ob/gyn and find out what is wrong they may need to do a pregnancy test using blood also she could try taking a test first thing in the morning if she hasn't already.
