I have a 4 month old girl and I've had some trouble getting her used to sleeping through the night. She wakes up many times, and won't go back to sleep unless I give her a pacifier, and even then she'll sometimes wake up again just minutes after. I'm tired of this, and I want to try the Ferber method but I'd like some feedback from parents who have used it with positive (or negative) results. And if you don't consider this method is good, I'd like some ideas about how to get her to sleep well, on her own. And how do I tell my mother-in-law that I don't want her to rock the baby to sleep? I don't want to hurt her feelings, but I believe it's time for my daughter to learn to fall asleep by her self.
I really would appreciate any tips. Thanks!

If she gets pregnant this will be her first child. I know she wants to have baby very much, but I worry that either she won't get pregnant or if she does get pregant that there may be complications. My question is how likely is it that a woman her age will be able to conceive and have a healthy baby?

My nephew is almost two years old, and at times he can be a perfect little angel. Other times, however, he like snaps and will start to throw things and punch and hit and bite and all that stuff. Its not a reaction to anything like being punished or having something taken away. He just will be playing and then all of a sudden he will attack who ever is closest to him. Is this normal for a 21 month old?

Every morning I would take my prenatal vitamin, but I was afraid I wasn't getting anything out of it because I had morning sickness and would throw it back up. So I started taking it at night before I went to bed, but now, my morning sickness has changed to bedtime sickness and I feel great in the mornings. Why is the vitamin making me sick and has this happened to anyone else? How can I make this stop?

Is this out of control.? I don't know what to do. MY first child was in perfect health and my second was in a childrens hospital a week after we brought her home. She had reflux, milk allergy that made her bleed from her bottom. She had a lump in her breast (that was nothing) now she has had a rash on her bottom i can't get rid of, hard lumps on the base of her neck, and leg cramps during the night like crazy!!! I had a wonderful pediatrition (she was the local best) and we changed to another when the doctor didn't want to give her meds for refux because it caused no long term damage. If you have ever had reflux then you know why we changed doctors. The second doctor is just too relaxed and nothing is resolved. Are these related or is my daughter the one child that every one has that they have a hard time keeping healthy. I one need to change doctors again but, i can't find a good one, it was a big deal with the paper work, and no one will listen if i lswitch dr. all the time.

Say your toddler is screaming at you a lot, hitting the walls, laying on the floor and screaming non-stop. Hitting other children, throwing things, not listening to you when you say no.

******How do you punish them when you get really irritated with them? Your most drastic punishment?********
