first of all im a grown woman, 24, just in a a messed up situation. the father of my child who is 24, doesnt want anything to do with me after i found out he was cheating on me at 7 months pregnant, im 9 months now. he claims he only wants the child in his life but hasnt done anything for the baby since the moment he found out, which was in feb. he claimed he wanted this baby, wanted our relationship to work, be a family and get married. what would make a guy do a complete 180 over nite cause he got caught doin wrong?
the baby is his no doubt about that and he knows it and i didnt do anything to him for him to all of a sudden not want anything to do with me. and theres things he can do for the baby before he is born like save money, help me buy things for him, keep me stress free, etc. i got so stressed out i went into preterm labor a wek after and the baby dropped at 28 wks. did he care...no! being a parent doesnt start the day the baby's born!!!!

Since I have never gone into labour on my own and I am pregnant with my second child. I was wondering, if my water breaks while I am sleeping or sitting on the couch for example how do you clean that up? Does amniotic fluid stain?

Does anyone have cystic fibrois? I just found out that I am a carrier of it. And I am pregnant. My husband is getting tested next week to see if he is a carrier of it too. If my baby was to have it what steps in life will i have to take to make sure the child has a comfortbable life. I have read that the average person with cyctic fibrois only lives to be in their 30's. Is that true or just statistics? Any info on this would be greatly appriecated.

Absent parent in my case is getting 'under-the-table jobs and moving around through different states. Child support enforcement can't catch up to him. What I have: a court order and a current location (not address) and a cell phone number (non-trackable). Police aren't cooperating, the system doesn't work without a tracking device, like a tax-paying job or car payment, credit cards, etc. I do have current communication and 1500 miles between. I send him pictures of his child. I'm low on finances to travel.

I was wondering when i could put a pillow in my sons crib for him. He is only 10 months old so i am sure its to young yet but when he is on the carpet playing he loves when i have pillows down because he lays all over them.

i have slight nausea, headaches, cramping. the only thing that makes me feel that its not pms is the faint spell, and that my nipples are really sore, that doesn't happen when i'm about to get my period. i've taken 4 hpt all neg, 2 were very faded. i went to the doctor office yesterday he did a urine test came out neg. i would be approx, 5 wks. she also did a blood preg test i don't get the results till 2 wks. i feel like i am prego. i also have been urinating a lot especially in the middle of the night. and a lot of tiredness. my period is late close to 2 wks. has this happend to anyone and they've been preg?

my son is 5 months old and he can't sit up on his own yet .. he just started grabbing things and he's TRYING to sit up but he just can't keep that head all the way up .. is this normal? when should he start doing that?

My 17 mth old son is sick this week, after trying to make him better, with OTC cold remedies, I decided to take him to Dr., to rule out sinusitus. I knew that would require an antibiotic. I am not pleased with this Dr., but was giving him one more chance, which proved almost dangerous to my son! First, and this is part one of my ?, the Dr said that he could not have a sinus infection ,because he does not have sinuses at this age. Has anyone else EVER heard of this? Then this is the really bad thing, he prescribed Rondec Oral, for his cold. I went to several local pharmacies, and they did not have it. The last one told me that they could not have it because it had been RECALLED, pulled off the market! Because of the "harmful" long lasting effects of the drug that was in it, chlorpheniramine.This is my ? Aren't Dr.'s suppossed to be on top of the medications? His ofc acted like this was a normal thing! I think he should have known, what do you think??

My daughter is 16 weeks old and weighs nearly 17 pounds already! When she was born she weighed just 6 pound 10 oz. My first 2 children had low birth weights and grew slowly so this is a new situation for me. My baby is breast fed she feeds every 2 hours day during the day and every 3 hours during the night. She is a happy, and healthy baby but i'm concerned about her weight gain and want to know if it is normal or if something else may be wrong like a growth disorder or am i over feeding her?
