I don't think that he should be really mad...maybe more disappointed than anything. Depending on how old she is of course. He may want to sit her down and have a good talk to her about protecting herself against pregnancy and std's

Well, first off i think he should be rational about this.If he gets angry and takes things or tells her she cant go anywhere, etc she is only going to rebel.Depending on the age of your sister he can go about this more than one way.More than likely she wasnt educated about sex and its risks and consquences emotionally and physically. He needs to speak to her, even tho its too late he needs to make her aware of the risks of having sex.Protected or not there is still a risk even if small of pregnancy.Although, this is late at this i think it would be better for your mother or another trust woman in your family to speak with your sister. She needs to be educated about this stuff before she ends up pregnant if she isnt already.Since this is in the adolescent catagory im assuming she is under the age of 18 and if that is so then she needs to know how to protect herself and know that even then there is a risk of pregnancy.Again, how he deals with this depends on her age.At any age i would suggest a trusted female which can be a family friend or family member to speak with your sister. It will be very uncomfortable for her and she will not open up to your father like she would a woman as women tend to understand each other a little more than men understand women. She will be more open and ask questions and listen better if a woman talks with her.He needs to stay calm because if not she will run and end up making more mistakes than she is prepared for.Good luck.

If your sister is living at home - she must abide by the rules of the house - your dad has the right to punish her for her bad behavior - he is also frightened for her safety and health - your sister should have better sense and respect herself more than to go and do that. He has a right to be angry because she just ruined herself in more ways than one. hope she did not get any sexually transmitted diseases - maybe she should go to doctor to get tested - there are over 50 common among teens & preteens today.

I guess it depends on how old your sister is. If she is over the age 18 there isn't alot that he can do other than throwing her out of the house. He can't undo what's already been done and He'll have to learn to live with it. She may also want to remind her father to remember when he was her age. Father's are always protective of their daughters since they remember how they were when they were their age.

Where is the mother in this situation?

Someone needs to talk to your sister about the ramifications of having gratuitous sex in your teens. The sad truth is that a few minutes of usually unfullfilling rutting for the female in her teens can affect her in one way or many for the rest of her life and usually not in a good way.

if your sister acts irresponsibly, then your father has a right to be mad...let him cool off and then the whole family should talk things over

tell your dad to take your sister(if she didn't use protection)to a doctor, because she might be pregnant or might have STD. Hope this helps.

That's your Dad's decision, not yours. It depends on her age, the boy's age and a myriad of other things.
