How effective is the ortho tri-cyclen lo? Has anyone got pregnant while taking this birth control pill?

He is 30 and we already have 4 boys. We have the means to provide for another baby, but he has said before that he is getting too old to have anymore. I desperately want to try for a girl, but if I don't get one that would be okay too. I need a way to ask him if he is willing to try for one more. This one would be the last. Our youngest is 1 yr old. What should I say to him?

My son's ex-wife is pregnant by a guy who is living with her, but is not married to her. She went back to using her maiden name after their divorce. This has started a debate in our family. When she has the baby, can she choose any last name for it that she wants, or is she legally limited to the biological father's last name or her maiden name?

if i am pregnant and my job i am a sales rep i stand on my feet about 4-6 hors a day every second day is it safe to work thru pregancy or should i talk to m boss and get a chair so i can sit in when its not busy...(i work in a department store called Zellers, i work in elecronics and it is hardly ever busy) and should i take christmas season off? the busyist time?

My daughter just turned 2 so I think its about time I potty train her. I have started putting her on the potty every hour on the hour and rewarding whenever she doesnt anything even a tinkle....any other suugestions????

My wife and I have been together for 5 years.

We are in our mid 20's.

We were waiting for our “perfect time” to have a child.

We wanted to pay off our house, cars, and do a $50,000 house remodel before having our first child.

Friends told me I would regret waiting so long because there will never be a “perfect” time.

So we decided to get pregnant now, and our house and cars will be paid off before the baby is born.

So we made it to the half way point of our “perfect” time.

The remodel will wait, but I think I will be happy being a father more than I would enjoy a new kitchen at this time.

Did anyone else try to wait for the “perfect” time and then decided to just start a family instead?

I was on the patch for a year and 5 mos i decided to stop using it and took it off on the 6th which was my week off .I got my period on the 11th. If I would of continued the patch i would of had put it on the 13th to begin the cycle again but i didnt, i had sex on the 15th and 17th and so on up until this day. I've been feeling sick. i have 2 little boys and we are trying to conceive again. Could i have gotten pregnant after being off the patch for a week and a half?

I come from a very large family. I have 1 bro and 3 sisters. Growing up was so much fun with a large family. I am wondering if I have messed up by not having a sis or bro for my 8 yr old. I do not want to have anymore children but I keep thinking about life without my sisters and brothers and I am feeling like her life will be so lonely when she gets older. She came home from school yesterday and said she is the "only child" in her class. the class made graphs and she said she had to leave the circle before they even started. I am starting to feel bad now. I think it is to late now. She is 8 and now that would be such a big age difference.

my period should start next week, and the ept test says that I can use it up to 5 days before my next period. I did the test today (5 days earlyier) and the results were negative.. does that mean I'm not pregnant or should I want few more days.

My 8 yr old daughter seems to let her little friends be mean to her. She talks alot about this certain girl she calls her best friend alot at home and says they are such good friends and that she is so nice but I have noticed this girl be mean to my daughter more than once. This morning my heart broke. When I pulled up to the school by daughter saw this girl and when she got out of the car she starting calling the little girls name and had the biggest smile and the girl totally ignored her. The girl actually ran from my daughter. I watched her turn and look at me and I was devestated. I am crying thinking about it now. My daughter seems to have some girls that ae nice to her but she seems to only want to be friends with the ones who treat her like crap. Any advice would be nice. Thanks

We have a 3 year old son and a baby due in Late Jan. We were wondering if any of you have used the Sit and stand strollers? I have seen them in Target. If you have or know someone who has, what did you think about it? or is it just worth it to get a single stroller and have him follow me? I use the stroller around town and in the mall. He sits for most of the time but, he dose like to walk too!

I am talking about the age of a first time mother.

Do you consider anyone under 20 a “young” mom?

Or do you consider anyone under 30 a “young” mom?

My wife is hopefully going to have our first child when she is 24.

I consider 24 to be an “average aged” mom, and not really a “young” mom.

What age do you consider to be a young mom?

Are you a young mother??

having contractions 3-5 min apart and thining out but not really dilating I am 1 1/2 cm dilated. they told me to walk but walking does not seem to be working. does anyone have any other suggestions? I have been having these contractions since 1 pm august 30th. Please help.

Can anyone tell me if this doll is colored more like Jennifer Lopez or Sonia Bragga (if you remember her from Sex & The City)? I want to get a Bitty Baby as close to my daughter's tones as possible. My husband is Tongan, and we are finally having a baby boy, after three girls. I would love to figure out how to say&spell Matthew and Matt in Tongan. Matt is my husbands name, and he said it sounded really cool. But of course he cant remember how to say or spell it. Please only answer with correct answers. I do know some Tongan.
