Can anyone tell me if this doll is colored more like Jennifer Lopez or Sonia Bragga (if you remember her from Sex & The City)? I want to get a Bitty Baby as close to my daughter's tones as possible. She has dark brown hair and eyes, but her skin tone is LIGHT olive (think Italian - not stereotypical "hispanic"), kind of like Nancy Lee Grahn on General Hospital.

You should get some yarn in her shade and knit her a dolly. Then get some other shades and create a whole knit family. That would be nice.

Take your daughter with you and match her up. You might be able to find one with similar hair/eye colors too. My sister bought a doll that was custom made for her daughter. It looked a little like the cabiage patch dolls, but personalized for my niece.It cost her 45.00, that was 8 years ago though. The doll is still in perfect, flawless condition. My niece her moms white, dads black, so dolly has a light brown skin color to match my niece, cute brown eyes, and dark brown hair.
