My sisterinlaw gave birth to my nephew today and was 1 month early, the doctors said his lungs were not fully developed and that they were going to give him medicine and put him in a special childrens hospital, they said about 3 days he would be there. Can someone tell me what happens after 3 days? He is developing but how will they know hes ready to breathe on his own?
I was so upset tonight. Someone please ease my mind. Thank you.

My daughter is 28 months and she doesn't listen to me for anything. I tell her to put something back and she looks at me with this coy grin, then takes off running, and when I tell her again to put it back she says "I don't have to put it back, mom" SHe listens to her dad, but not to me. And that is just one instance, there are other examples. I have tried timeouts, the whole count to three method, she used to be a really well mannered kid, is it just terrible two's or is there something I can do to overcome this aside from just waiting for her to get older?

I don't know why I can't focus and think like I use to. Sometimes I don't feel like I'm in reality. I feel like I'm in a dream! After I had my child, I started to feel this way! I know 2 other ladies who say the same thing. Does anybody know what is going on?

I am really starting to get concerned about my 5 yr old son (will be 6 in 4 mos). Around the age of 4 I started finding my bras and panties in odd places where he would hide them. He has always liked silky things like the satin binding on a blanket so I was not overly concerned because I thought he liked the feel of them. He has continued to do this over the past year and it is getting worse. I have not made an issue of it and I have repeatedly told him that these are mommies personal things and he should not play with them or hide them.

It is getting worse, he has now started to dress things with my underwear and yesterday I caught him wearing a pair of my pantyhose in the nude and now I am totally freaked out as is his dad. We are not an overly protective family, we are not overly modest, we are a morally good christian household and very active in our church. We monitor what he watches on tv, and he is very much a boy in every other way. How should we respond?

Ok I never had a boyfried. And i'm going into the 9th grade.And I've been asked out, but never said yes cause they only wanted me for a prize. In a few days I have to babysit a 5 month old and a 2 1/2 year old. I have babysat them before only when one of there parents was there. It shouldnt be for very long. I am 15. Are there any easy activities I could do with a 2 yr. old while holding/caring for a 5 month old? Anything helps!

I am looking for advice. I have a 4 year old son. Lately every meal has become a battle to get him to eat without some fuss. Everything is, "how many bites!" It is driving me mad! He does this even when I know he is hungry, usually when he wants to be doing something else...and no, I don't just let him go and not eat and do what it is he wants to do...but it is turning into where it would be hours (if I would let it go on). "How many bites, How many bites!" I just want to have a semi peaceful meal time. ( Or as peaceful as it can get with a 4 year old.

Supose you are the father. Your birthday is tomorrow. Your son gives you today a touching bday gift and the weekly school report which is very bad ( 2 tests failed and behaivour complains) Normaly you would punish him severly for it. Will the touching gift make you not do that ?

He is retaking in summer school 3 subjects he failed . The bad report is due to not trying hard enough and just messing around

Around the 6th week of pregnancy, she started developing prominent veins all over her legs. Her Doctor advised her that it is more likely due to high levels of hormones. She is fairly active and on her feet most of the time. They look like varicose veins. Have any other women experienced this problem. Did the veins decrease after pregnancy?
