I think that if the father is good to the baby then you should give the fathers name to the baby

If I weren't with the father I would give the baby his father's last name as a middle name, that way he or she always knew of their father's heritage or family. If you are with the father and haven't yourself taken his last name, again, I think it should be a middle name.

its entriely up to you and the father. if you dont want the baby to have the fathers last name and he is ok with it then i dont see the problem. if you do not see the father and he wont be in the babies life then by all means. let the baby have your last name.

I grew up with my mother's last name because she and my father were not married when I was born. I hated it!! It was tough explaining to people that I didn't have my dad's last name. My parents stayed together until I was in my teens. I am married now but as a teen, I still wished I would have had my father's last name.

That is a decision that requires a lot if thinking. Every person and situation is different. If it were me and I wasn't married I would give the baby my last name. That is my own personal choice.

Yes it is ok,
if the guy isn't in love enough with you to marry you then
the baby doesn't deserve his last name.

Yes, it is okay... and if you are not married, you don't have to put the father's name on the birth certificate either.
