Well if your having your period wear a pad and keep an extra one in your bag, learn the campus usually they have a day you can go in and get a tour, meet a lot of people, join clubs, and learn to get used to having different teachers its actually pretty nice to change classes and see new ppl!
Good luck and Best wishes!

Usually, the school will have a day where you can walk around and get used to the campus. You may also even get a map of the school. I would highly suggest bringing pads or tampons in your purse. Just make sure no one goes through it...especially immature guys. If I were you I would not take the money to buy one there because a lot of schools don't sell the thin pads, but they have these old-fashioned pads that are like the size of a pillow!!! They suck and you will feel self-conscious the rest of the day (even though they really don't show through your pants). Wear dark pants that day and bring a hoodie you can wear in case it does go through your pants. Good luck and you will love middle school :)

Make sure you always wear something that is dark and is not easy to bleed through when you have your period.(Pockets!) At first when you don't know anything about the campus it may seem scary but there will be other people just like you that will have the same problem. Just make sure you stay close to friends and don't let the upperclassmen boss you around scare you and most importantly trick you and you will do just fine.

There is nothing scary about middle school i promise. last year was my first year of middle school and @ the beginning i was sooo scared i thought i was gonna get lost and what if my period starts and all that stuff, but its no big deal. ur not gonna get lost, and if u have a locker or a purse or even pockets just sticks some pads or tampons in there and everything will be ok. :)

Well i remember going to 6th grade its a big change from elemetary to middle school. But trust you will be ok. The part about changing classes was probably my fav. part and having so many differnet teachers.Since you are kind of scared to get your period then go to the bathroom a couple times during the day.
Good luck in your new school you will have alot of fun

well i dont know about your school but the classes at my middle school were about 45 or 55 minutes. basically you're sitting most of the day, and all you have to worry about is getting to the next class. just stop by the bathroom on your way to class, or ask the teacher to go to the restroom during class. have some pads or tampons in your locker and stop by on the way. don't worry you will get used to middle school and learn your way around within the first week! you'll get used to it. i felt the SAME way when i was going in to middle school, and i'm going into high school....lucky me!

I'm supposed to be getting mine the week when school starts and I'm in 8th. Well, what I would do is carry maxi pads and tampons with you that whole month because it could take a while. Don't worry. Take it from a person who's been in middle school.

Bring two tampons and two pads and wear dark pants/shorts. Do not wear a skirt because middle schoolers tend to be a bit immature and may cause you an unexpected, traumatic scene.

If you haven't gotten it before you start school... Wear dark colored pant and have a pad in your bag just in case... Go to the bathroom frequently to check... Good Luck!

although i'm not sure if this is a recommended thing to do, i'd just go ahead and put in a tampon and not even worry about ruining pants, etc. i do it all the time! the same thing happened to me in middle school.
