I mean..its their choice right? Even though some may say that abortion is an easy way out of people mistakes, a girl doesn't DECIDE to get raped, it wasn't her fault that she got both raped and pregnant.

i'm 30, divorcee and well my ex-wife's dead.........so well, my daughter's 5 and really cute i love her but i've been leaving her in a creche from 9 to 3 then a babysitter picks her and keeps her till 8 in the night(the girl and her friendz just stay @my place) thats OK but the thing is my daughter just doesn't consider me very special...........i leave her in the mornings when she is half - asleep and come back when she just knows i'm someone.....she even took to calling me uncle!! What do i do??????? i'm scared she'll grow up to ignore me or atleast be insecure. i love her and want to be with her but i gotta work since i'm not rich..............Can any of u parents help me???

Im 18 and i will be 4months pregnant on saturday. The thing is im quite tiny, im a size 8 with a tiny pelvis n waist. And I dont think I cud physically go through labour! Can u request to have a cesarian? Or do the hospital decide them kind of things?

My daughter's 4th birthday party is this weekend. It's at an indoor playground, so there won't be much activity planning. But, I can pour my creative energy into food planning instead. :)

I remember as a kid we had some book w/ fun ideas on food that kids could make & love eating... like deviled egg sailboats & things w/ happy faces. I've thought about doing strawberry shortcake for dessert instead of cake. (Less sugar & more fun if it's homemade. :) ) Celery & peanut butter. Melon & cheese cut into shapes w/ cookie cutters.

Does anyone have any other fun ideas for kid food? Something that will add a special touch without being tons of work and still be relatively healthy? It would be great if you can point me to a web-site w/ lots of ideas & pictures.

I don't have time to order a book from Amazon. But, if you know of a good kids cookbook maybe I can find it at the local bookstore / library or save it for the future.

I let my son go hang out up the street w/friends, finally, but I cannot break my fear of what could happen to them "out there". Especially with my daughter, she rarely goes to a friends house, & never walks anywhere. I know I need to let go a little--soon. They ask to go to the movies w/friends- to get dropped off & picked up. ..
Someone help! Are my kids still little & better off when I know their safe? Or do I need to "cut the umbilical cord"?

How many of you ladies have suffered form mild panic attacks in early pregnancy? My friend is and she is normally so relaxed, its not cos shes worried about being pregnant as shes been trying for a baby. Was just wondering if anyone else has felt the same way.

My boyfriend and I were running aound grocery shopping taking care of business and everything when I was about 4 months pregnant. On my next appointment when I am 37 weeks I am going to ask the Dr. to induce me since I have been having problems walking and doing everyday house chores and trying to take care of my son who is almost three and trying to litter train kittens. On my last appt the Dr. told me he thinks I am also going to be having a big baby. What do you think about it. My first was born at 37 wks and 4 days.

we've been happy with it. Today, though, the school informed us that tomorrow morning, there will be a local t.v. channel that will be filming in their classroom for a show on the channel that's called "the changes' which is a reality t.v. series that grants people in the movie industry a chance at fulfilling their dreams. In this case, there's a local actress who always wanted to be a pre school teacher. I told the school that it would probably be ok with us to allow our kid to join tomorrow, given they provide us with the ff info: 1. who this actress is, 2.) what she does in the showbusiness, precisely. So the school gave us details that we requested. I loked up these people on the internet, and I found out that the 'actress' is actually a sex-dancer and has been a sex- dancer since the age of thirteen! And the two hosts of the show are pornography-workers. I was so upset and gave them a piece of my mind. Was I wrong to do so?

My daughter is expecting her 1st baby , My 1st grandbaby . Her DR did an amnio a couple day's ago to see if the babies lungs were mature enough to induce her . From what we have been told she is 37 weeks . Anyway the results say the babies lungs are not mature enough yet . I thought the babies lungs were well developed at this stage in pregnancy ??? This is driving my daughter crazy she thinks something has to be wrong ??? PLEASE someone let us know what is going on ... Thank you Lena
