With my first one, it seemed my husband got that part of the deal. With my second, it always happened in the car or at someone elses' house. And same here, Chinese food(which I love) was NOT a good idea while I was pregnant.

All women are different. Some women go through thier pregnancy with no morning sickness what so ever, others feel it in the first trimester. Some feel sick for only a short period of time and others will feel sick the entire duration of pregnancy. As for myself, I was 3 months pregnant when I first started feeling sick.. it lasted about 2 weeks . Sometimes a particular kind of food will trigger the sickness, and in my case it was food that I normally loved. It varies with the individual and sometimes doesn't even occur in the morning.

I've had 5 kids and with all 5 it started within 2 weeks of getting pregnant. However most of them it ended by the 4th month. I did notice that my taste for foods changed so that no matter how far along I was there were just certain foods I couldn't eat...even after I wasn't pg anymore.

I've always known morning sickness to be most common during the first 3 months of pregnancy. (the first trimester) That's why they call the second trimester (4-6months) "the golden trimester". Then when your in the third trimester you have the discomfort of being so big.
Maybe you just gagged on that particular food- being pregnant. When I was pregnant I remember being disgusted with even the smell of tuna... and I like tuna.

My morning sickness kicked in 2 weeks after I concieved and it stayed there. I adventually lost the baby in my 3rd month, but it wasn't due to the morning sickness. I hope I never have to go through that again. I couldn't eat or drink anything and I wound up losing 20 pounds, but mine was severe....since you are already 4 months I don't believe yours will give you too many problems.

I only have one child so far, a girl, and didn't have morning sickness at all. My friend has two, a girl and a boy. She didn't have morning sickness with the first one (the girl), but she did with the boy. I think it was kind of far along too before she started getting sick. Maybe 5 months or something.

Vomitting is a symptom of morning sickness, in some cases, it might start at first month and last till later months of pregnancy.
