they will not be malnourished cause she will not have morning sickness
so they will not be born underweight
so they will not be watched for failure to thrive
but
beware
if you are not catholic
you might wanna consider going to a catholic doctor who will then deliver you at a catholic hospital
because:
the catholic doc
is the only one who wont administer a drug screeen in the third trimester
all the other doctors, all the other clinincs, nurse practioners do- its some kindof regulation
but the catholic doctor wont do it, cause they figure its your business or theyre just happy youre not aborting or using birt control heaven forbid!-
or sumthin
so
what you spare yourself with all this is: the demeaning talking down to from the obgyn
the threats of social services investigating you
the actual visit from the agitated social worker in your hostpital room after youve had the babty
and the trherats from her that theyll ne taking your baby if you ever smoke a bowl again
and blah blahblah
but no it wont hurt your baby
and it wont hurt your wife
but it can cause problems like, with your custody a nd your doc and legal junk like that
some people say it causes ADD- but, like,m what doesnt?

I have heard that it lowers sperm count. But first of all you need to get your priorities straight. If you want to start planning to have kids you need to straighten out your life. Do you really think that you will be a good role model to a child if you smoke a joint everyday, or even once in a while. This poor child did not ask for a stoner dad, BE A MAN AND GROW UP. Don't do it for yourself do it for your family. A child deserves a good role model.

It certainly can - even tabacco smoke can cause problems. I would recommend quitting at least a month before you begin ttc.

Yeah, the chances are you would have a healthy child, but if you didn't - you would spend the rest of your life wondering if it was your fault.

Just lowers sperm count. No effect on a child if your wife didn't partake

If you didn't smoke so much pot, you would not have to ask such a stupid question...OF COURSE it will affect the child. Come on now, stoned sperm swim slow, but think they are speeding!

It is proven to impact the sperm count... But apparently not that much or I wouldn't have had two babies over the past two years. Hubby and I haven't had any issues and Maryjane is the other woman in his life.... ;)

Its not just the sperm count that is affected, the quality of the sperm too is very much affected. That stupid habit will ruin your life and even your child's life...
