Around 6 months, maybe a little earlier than that...
It's ok if your baby takes time, longer than you expext, to hold a bottle. Some babies' fingers aren't very steady at earlier age.
As for mine, he has big palms and firm fingers. Even at age 1 he's able to hold up a cup while drinking without spilling the content.

My first born was so eager to be independant, he held a bottle at 2 1/2 months and could feed himself independently at 11 months without spilling a drop.
My second was a slow developer and I am convinced there is no agenda here, each baby develops differently.
Lyss, would have loved that however with a 10 lb baby and the second being 10 1/2 lb, I couldn't sadly.

if you choose not to breastfeed that is fine i didnt and its your choice **** who ever thinks different and my daughter held her bottle when she was 6 months good luck and congratulations bye
