My cousin is having a baby shower and I really don't want to go. What can I say to get out of going and not hurt anyone's feelings? I'm planning on sending a gift with my mother-in-law. However, I have to send an email to the shower's coordinator and I'm not sure on what to tell her. Being honest really isn't an option in this case. Does anyone have any advice they could give me?

What to do about him.I had my baby on the 31 of July, and when I had my baby she split me a alot, and when I came home from the hospital he wanted to have sex with me and I said that I cant because of what happened and he got mad and made me have sex with him and he made my spilt come back open and I was crying and kept telling me to shut up or he wont take to the hospital. I dont know what to do nomore when I was the hospital about to have the baby he hit me when they told me to walk around he smacked me. when we got home he took me to get something to eat and he got mad in the store and kept saying wait until I get you home telling me he was going to beat me up, and I asked him why dont he just hit me in front of all these people so they can see who you are, and I triend to leave and he dragged me out the parking lot to the car and he punched me.I dont know what to do nomore.

About numerous things.
First of all, I'm 17, I'm a dad, I take care of my baby girl, and my gf, we live in our o wn apartment, now don't mock us.
My first concern is, my gf never really fully recovered from giving birth, she has been sick in bed for a few weeks, doctors say its normal, but we both know its not. I've been taking care of her, and taking care of my 5 mth old. But she ran a high fever today, and was crying for her baby girl, but if our daughter has a weak immune system, and i couldn't let her get sick.. Should I be worried about my gf?

My daughter, has been refusing the bottle, and I don' t know what to do, when she crys, it isn't because she pooped, shes hungry, and I can't really feed her to well. What should I do ?

hey everyone this is my first post....I recently turned 17 and about 6 months ago I became sexually active with my boyfriend. Instantly I went on birth control. This past month (the very day after my period ended) we had sex and he went inside me... that was about 3 weeks ago...but Im worried because I have been puking, and gaging a bit in the mournings, and this hasnt happened to me beofre. Has anyone experienced this??? am i pregnant??? or could it be side affects from my birth control???
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i think the yahoo users "gurls" are really old perverted men. first they said they were in highschool and now theyre 12 and lost there virginity at 11. uh huh ok. does anyone else think this too? btw just asking cuz their questions and answers are starting to get on my nerves.

My 25month old son threw one heck of a fit at the doctor's office a few months back so she recomended ECI {early childhood intervention} to make sure he was alright. Well they have came twice and pretty much said in most areas he is right on track, but a few he is maybe 1-4months behind... Mostly because he doesn't grasp the idea of One, carry out comands, or talk in sentance form... Well pretty much they said an idea to try was sensory therapy.. He likes to jump and something about how a trampoline would help with joint compressions.. I looked it up on the computer and came across {sensory integration dysfunction}. Does anyone have any information on this? How do you tell if you have a spoiled brat, a spirited child, or if your child has sensory integration dysfunction?

Any ideas of things to do while I wait untill ECI sends me information on sensory therapy in the mail?

Three week old baby will sleep for up to 4 hours at a time, but only if I am holding her. As soon as I put her down, she screams. We've let it go for 5-10 minutes thinking she'd cry herself to sleep, but she does't.

Ok he left when I got pregnant, and now he is talking to a girlfriend(*pam*) of mine to ask how I am doing, but yet he doesn't call me or write me to ask me himself. I also had another friend who I thought was talking to him behind my back (*june*), and when that was going on *pam* told me *june* was wrong because she was my friend and he needed to ask me himself. but now *pam* is doing the same thing. i dont know what to do or how to tell her she is wrong without losing a friend, can anyone help, or has anyone had something similar happen to them??

I am just wondering if anyone else has a son or daughter that sucks their thumb. I have heard all the stories about how it ruins their teeth and I don't want that to happen. They are way past the stage of using a pacifier so that won't work. If you know of any remedies or solutions that would help I would love to know.

Over the course of the summer, I have been seeing a man who told me he had a vasectomy. Yet, lately, I've been wondering about the possibility of pregnancy.

Is it possible to get pregnant by a man who has had a vasectomy??

And, is it possible that men lie about having had one?? I say that because on one of our sexual encounters, he asked if I wanted him to "pull out?" I thought, "What does it matter if he's had a vasectomy??" So, he has NEVER pulled out. And, one of our encounters may have been about the time I would be ovulating.

Advice??

I'm a teen dad, and please don't mock me about it.
I'm 17, I dropped out of school, my dad owns one of the Marriot Hotels, so I work there as a manager.
I love my daughter Samantha, and my girlfriend, Ashley.
I wouldn't take this back for the world,
but people always mock me about my mistakes.
How do i make them stop?

I was thinking about a diaphram or a cevical cap. Anyone ever tried it before? my dr tells me she loves it. The reason I am curious about it is I am not a huge fan of hormone birth control. I used this when my husband and I were first married but stoped because it just made me so emotional. After that we just used condom which I did not like much, just could not feel it as good.

Let me know what you think of the diaphram if you tried it or if you have any other alternitives you like.
We plan on having another baby in about 1.5 - 2 yrs.
