The earliest is 2 wks. You also will experience some tiredness. When you first become pregnant, your baby takes all of your iron. So, thats why it's important to take your iron and vitamins!

My husband and I had been trying to get pregnant for 12 years and couldn't. I would take a pregnancy test and they would always come up negative. We had given up on the baby thing. One day I went to work and I got really sick and didn't know why. This had started to happen everyday. I started feeling very tired and just wanted to sleep. I didn't get excited at first because of the other test being negative. My husband and I had got into a big fight around this time because he felt as if I didn't really want a child and maybe was doing something to prevent it. He really didn't mean it but he couldn't understand why we weren't pregnant yet. A few day after the fight. I was still feeling miserable at work. So that weekend I bought a pregnancy test I got up about 4:00 am Sunday morning and took the test. It was Positive. I was so excited and couldn't believe it was true that I bought another test when the store opened to make sure it also was positive. Even that wasn't enough even with all the symptoms I was having. It took my husband and both going to the doctor and the doctor giving me a test before we truly believed I was pregnant even though everything in and all the signs where there. So yes you will know if the nausea doesn't then the soreness of the breast and tiredness will.

well i didn't realize I was pregnant at the time but at about two weeks I randomly quit smoking because the smell was bothering me and i started getting headaches and sleeping ALL the time and acting like a total crab ALL the time and being really emotional. then the next week when I started puking 24/7 and any smell other than, like, WATER made me nauseous I knew the gig was up. I know it probly sounds like I'm a hypochondriac but it was really that bad! ..............plus I just had that "feeling". i knew deep down but the tests kept coming back negative. They lied, by the way. I guess it was too early. Once I found out I was too happy to be crabby anymore though i did burst into tears occasionally. this got way too long. Sorry.

to me, it's your own instincts. the change in your body is sore breast ( you wouldn't want your partner kissing them anymore! ), nausea and fatigue for no obvious reason at anytime of the day and bad flatulence. your appetite changes drastically. you don't seem to enjoy your favourite food anymore but crave for others instead. all this sign can crop up as early as 2 weeks after your intercourse. a blood test can tell whether you are pregnant or not in just 2 days after intercourse!

if you are really in tune with your body, about two weeks. Early signs would be a missed period, breast tenderness, increase appetite, nausea, and a feeling of just knowing.

Usually a missed period is the first sign. I felt slightly 'high', like really spacey and forgetful before my test showed positive. I didn't get nausea until my 8th week. Your boobs get tender, but they always do before a period.

I didn't know that I was pregnant last time until I took a test. But this time around I knew within DAYS. My breasts got a bit tender and I was EXTREMELY tired. ***However*** Each person's body is different.
