Try doing a search on your individual school district's website. I know that our district's website has printable school supply lists on theirs, but it depends on the district. Not all of them even have a website. I always just buy the absolute necessities- crayons, glue, markers, construction paper, scissors, pencil box, ruler, etc. That is a good place to start.

What grade do you need a list for? My daughter is in second grade and her list is:
pencils
erasers
pencil sharpener with lid
pencil box
scissors
glue white or stick
crayons
ruler
lunch box
backpack
tissues
ziploc bags, various sizes
folder
composition notebook
Her school has its own website and things are listed on it.

A lot of our local stores (Walmart, Target, Meijer, office supply stores) have the lists for the schools right there with the sale items!

Wait until school starts and get a list from your kids' teachers, that way you'll know exactly what they need for THEIR class.
Of course if you do this you run the risk of not being able to buy the stuff you need because it may be all sold out...

In my county school district you can go and look at supply list for the school and maybe this can help you. The website is www.currituck.k12.nc.us If you have children in elementary school go to central elementary school and if you have children in middle school go to currituck county middle school.
