I am 8 months pregnant. And this is not my first pregnancies. My question is about labor. How long can I wait till I go to the hospital? I feel very uncomfortable in the hospital during the long period of labor. The hospital I`m going is very close to my place (Its only a walking distance), so when I have my contractions, is it okay if i wait untill my water bag breaks?

Why do so many people consider it okay for tiny babies to be breastfed in a toilet? Their immune system is so immature and toilets are so unhealthy and hygienic. It's a crime against humanity.

home visit to make sure the kids welfare is not jeopardized in any way. He is a single dad and does his best, but I'm wondering EXACTLY what they look for in these types of cases, is there any specific area he should be concerned with and what tips do you have if any? Their mother left them before the youngest was 1 year old, they are 8,7 and 5 now and have been released from the hospital. Any info would be great, the last thing these kids need is to lose their dad too.

My 2 year old has suffered from constipation in the past. Now he is quite regular but he really strains when pooing because he insists on standing up which obviously makes him clench his cheeks which stop it coming. I know that if he would just sit down, it would come so much easier. I have tried sitting him on a potty but he seems scared of it. He has sat on the toilet once with a training seat, which was successful but he refuses to go back. I hate to see him strain and I'm sure he associates pooing with pain which is why he clenchs.

my son is 5&1/2 months old and goes to bed at about 8. before we started him on solids he slept right through. now he wakens at 1 and 4 then i have to waken him at 6 to get him ready for nursery. at 1 he will take 1oz and at 4 about 5oz. he also wont go to sleep without being cuddled in. should i just put him into his cot at 8 and let him cry? and what should i do about the night feeds? in knackered and need sleep!

I have no idea why u had to be rude about my question about me being pregnant at a young age,and screw marrige,ur tax would never pay for my baby so u can get that out of ur head,im in uni and working at the same time all i wanted was some advice not any insults from u or any body else, it does'nt help to no that people like ur self are so inconsiteret and realy downing young girls just because they want to have a baby............and besides i don't have time to give a damm about what other people are going to think of me.

hi all, my son is 5 & 1/2 months old and enjoys a cuddle in our bed after his bottle, and when he wakes up through the night he settles better there too. so, is it ok to let him sleep here? my husband works nights so lewis gets half the bed. i know he might get used to this arrangement but to be honest i dont mind as long as he gets a good sleep.
