Since most people say that you are "never really feel ready to have a child". I was just wondering based on your personel beliefs what are important milestones that must be reached before taking on this major responsibility?

My period was due last wednesday but I still haven't got it. I normally get massive period pains. yesterday while having sex, a brown almost black goo was in my vagina. It's almost gone this morning. Does anyone know what this could be? Has anyone experienced the same sort of thing? I toke a pregnancy test on friday but that came out neg, could I still be pregnant ?should I take another one soon?

I'm actually having twin girls due soon. I really like Andraya for one of the names but I'm having a difficult name for the second. Sound they match, start with the same letter, etc? To those that think they should be similar, do you know any names that sound alike but wont be to confusing.

does not tell a woman to keep her legs closed if she does not want a child, that she can simply get an abortion? How is that fair, the same rule applies. If a man tells the woman to have the abortion then she is up at arms, but she never feels she has to get consent from the male because 'it's her body'. She is just the pod that carries another body in which 50% of that body does not belong to her. How can this male sense?

my bf came over last friday and my dad caught us and like my friend and her bf was over to but like my dad said that was ok .. but he wants to meet thm..ok but i asked him the other day when can he meet them and he said when im in hell and i said whens that and he said never and like wtf he just said he needed to meet them 1st but now he doesnt wats up with that?

My neice is to young for school, but she is extremly smart. She knows her abc, how to count, her left from wright, how to write her letters, spells her own name. Things like that. I dont want the fact that she is smart to go to waste, but i am not her parent so i cant put her in head start. Are there any activities that I can do with her that will teach her and she'll be able to have fun to. She wants to read so i want to practice that with her too! ALl advice appreciated. Thank you

When he's in the bath, while I'm changing his diaper...whenever he's naked, he grabs himself and doesn't let go. I'll watch him to see if it's because it's bothering him, but he seems ok. He just seems to love touching himself. I suppose it means everything is working ok down there. I've just never seen another baby that focused on his penis like that. My older son barely noticed his own when he was that age. I supposes it's normal. He is a male after all! Anyone else experience this?

ok so there is this guy i have known since i was 2 which was the first time i went to that country
sooo he is 2 1/2 years older than me but i have iked him FOREVER

I started my period on July 10th last month, and ovualted approximately the 23rd. My husband and I had intercourse July 16th - July 26th. I am due t have my period on Aug 7th. I had some bleeding a few days ago that I hear an be implantation bleeding... and I just couldn't wait to take a test... I tested today with an ept test and it said positive, however one line was lighter than the other one. Does this mean positive or did the test just work wrong? I have no symptoms of pregnancy at all, and it's still too early to see if I missed my period... I have an appointment with my OB/Gyn on the 15th of August. Just want to hear some opinions about this test. Thanks.

Aunt flow has'nt arrived yet not due for 2 more days, I have no health problems that I know of. But 5 days ago I started feeling nausiated everytime I eat and everytime I smoke a cigarette, and then I noticed that I really don't have an appetite, I have to make myself eat to get rid of the empty feeling and certain smells are stronger than usual and hard to tolorate. Those things are not usual for me I could smoke a cigarette and love it but now I don't enjoy them anymore, I get sick to my stomach when I do smoke. One more thing every month I get my period every 28 days and I get symptoms that my period is about to arrive about 4 or 5 days before its due. But this time I have had no symptoms of my pre period, I've been getting unusual symtoms of pregnancy. Does anyone think those are pregnancy symtoms?I know a lot of preg women have different symtoms but does these sound like pregnancy symtoms? Please respond. (My hubby and I don't use protection)

Background: 1st baby was b/f for less than 2 weeks, it just didn't work out. 2nd baby b/f for 22 months, didn't seem so bad but got tedious near the end. Self-weaned. 3rd baby is 13 months and I've about had it, LOL!

He will take a bottle or sippy cup, but if he's really tired then forget it. This sucks because I'm going to be taking a nightclass or two this fall. His daddy's not much help so I've got to do this on my own.

2 questions: Did you feel resentment toward or about nursing as baby got older? How did you overcome those feelings of being tied down?

And two, any tips for weaning? I've tried cutting out one feeding a day and it just isn't working. He still won't even sleep through the night. Sometimes he wakes up four and five times to be nursed back to sleep. I let him cry it out, consoling him every 15 minutes or so but he howls for about 2 hours before I give in and feed him. HELP!

My baby's pediatrician told me it was suppose to be 5 cc every 8 hours but the pharmacist told me that was an adult dose. For my baby it was suppose to be 1.5 cc. I call the pediatrician again but she insisted it was 5cc. On another occasion she prescribe 4 cc every 6 hours. Please tell me how much should I give my baby?
