I know I was born in the mid-afternoon, around the time that Perry Mason reruns were on, so we figure it was around 2pm, give or take a bit.

It was a foggy, cold, rainy kind of week. The doctor broke my mother's water to help hurry the birth along, and when he undid my "shrinkwrap" my head wasn't fully engaged in the birth canal, so there was enough space, and my umbilical cord fell out. Then, with every contraction, I nearly died from my hed pressing on her pelvic bones, cutting off my blood circulation until my head emerged. Then, they cut the cord while it was still pulsing, effectively causing me to lose about 20% of my blood volume, and I required ICU care to stay alive.

Then, I was nursed by another woman when they got me and another baby mixed up, and neither mother found out until they had fed the babies, and started to change our diapers. Then, my dad came and checked me out of the hospital, against medical advice, before something worse happened to me. My first time going outdoors, I went home in the cold fogginess. My father swears this is why I have loved cold, foggy, rainy days all my life.

I was born on a Sunday @ 2:37 am. My mom told me there were beautiful white fluffy clouds the day I was born. Maybe that's why one of my favorite pastimes as a child was to lay on my back on the lawn, look up at the clouds and imagine them being different animals or objects. My mom also told me I was 2 weeks late, which made it difficult for her to pick strawberries. Don't know of any weird events, per se.

yeah, I was born at 5:25 am, it was a monday morning, and I was suppose to be ahome birth, but I started to lose oxygen, and the water was a milky white, so when the nurse called the hospital she todl them taht it was a home birth and they treated my mom like crap b/c tehy were mad taht they had to "fix" and "take care of" a "botched" up home birth. ourse this was back before thy knew any better either. My mom told me she only stayed in the hospital for one day;well she gave birth went to the recovery rom and then left shortly thereafter w/ me b/c they were so rude to her-even after she gave birth. I even broke her tailbone b/c she had to push me out so fast. I've been told I looked like a smurf when I came out, and my brother didnmt like me b/c I was a girl and he wanted a little sister.
The wierd thing happened 6 months later when I got bacterial meningitas from the sniffles anbd was in the hospital for 3 weeks. I am so thankful I am alive today b/c of the grace of God, and the only thing that was left behind was that I'm epileptic and have siezures. I could of been deaf, dumb,or blind, or all three. I'm none of that and live a normal life nad have 3 beautiful girls who do not have it.
