It could be side effects from the BC only if you missed it for a significant amount of days and doubled up on your pills and instantly felt sick. Other than that, sweetie...it does sound like you're pregnant. Do yourself a favor, quit wondering and go buy a test. That is the only way you will really ever know...

If your that worried then have a test done to see. The bc can make you have the symptoms of being pregnant. But it does depend how long you have been taking it as to whether your protected by it or not. I have 3 kids and I got pregnant with my 2nd one while I was on the pill. But, the bc is not 100% safe. You should use other protection as well. But I will tell you that condoms are not 100% safe either. I got pregnant with my 3rd being on the pill and using a condom. And please talk to your parents. Yeah, they may be shock to hear this from their little girl. But deep down your still their daughter and no matter what the outcome, they will still love you. You do need to educate yourself about all this so that you will better understand things and be better prepared in the future. If you are pregnant and don't want the baby, at least think about having it and putting it up for adoption. There are a lot of couples out there that would give anything to have a child and can't. They would love the opportunity to be able to get a baby. Good luck and God Bless.

the side effects of birth control is nausea and vomitting so it can very well be the side effects of the pill, if your breast start to hurt that is also a side effect of a pill. Dont listen to some of the people on here. Side effects of medications effect people differently and at different times. Ive been on b/c for almost 2 years and i still get the side effects occassionally. there is always a possibility you could be pregnany but since you just got off your period it is the time you are MOST UNFERTILE plus you are on the birth control pill. if you take it every day at the same time then your chances of you being pregnant are slim to none. did he even ejaculate inside of you? or was it in for a few seconds and then pulled out? you are most likely not pregnant. if you want to ease your mind you can always take a pregnancy test. or just wait till next month till you get your period. It usually takes 4 to 5 days after you go off the active pill to get your period so dont freak out right away! dont stress abotu it everything is going to be fine, ive been in your situation b4 and everything was fine for me =) just take this as a learning experience and use a condom next time you dont want any babies running around do you???! =p Just keep taking your birth control pill at the regualr time and wait for your next period, if you are pregnant the hormomnes do not effect the baby in its early stages of development though. BUT you arent pregnant so dont worry about it =)

I haven't ever taken birth control, but I've never heard of it making people sick engouh to puke. I have been pregnant. I used to puke every couple of days, sometimes in the morning sometimes in the afternoon. I would throw up especially when it was hott and I felt ill when taking a shower due to the heat. This hit me at about 2 weeks after I believe I conceived. However there were other signs. 4 weeks after I busted out in a heat rash and my nipples chaffed and became darker. Foods I used to love I couldn't stand.
Certain smells , like hot dogs cooking ,set off my morning sickness. If I were you I take a pregnancy test.

Go to the pharmacy, buy a pregnancy test.
Take it.
If it is positive you are pregnant.
If you are pregnant tell your parents. Figure out your options. If you are going to keep the baby and/or put it up for adoption you need to educate yourself.
Buy a lot of pregnancy books.
Read about pregnancy, get a calendar going (they have free ones you can sign up on) to help you understand what is happening to you.
Stay in school, go to college and become something to insure that your child will not grow up ignorant and will have a role model of a mother.
It is not too early to feel morning sickness (throwing up at 7am). I had morning sickness the day I missed my period and on for three months with this current pregnancy.
Listen to me: You must take a pregnancy test today, tonight, right now. Then you must, I mean MUST get to a doctor as soon as possible. If you are pregnant and do want to keep this child you do not want a disabled child due to your birth control pills/devices.
Good luck, and I hope you update me on your situation.

my first side effect of pregnancy with my first child, and the first thing that clued me in to even the possibility of being pregnant was puking. however I was nauseated on BC. take a test!!! If you're far enough along to puke, it'll show up. Good luck! (also, I'm a CNA so this doesn't sound gross to me, but pregnancy puke is easily identified by a bright dull yellow color....at least for me....that is the only way I can think of to describe it.) Best wishes if you are pregnant! :)

I didn't take BC pills untill I was 30, and already had two children. They made me so sick and nautious I wished I had been pregnant! Then I would know that in a few months it would stop. I told my doctor about it and he lowered the dosage on my pills and it stopped. Try telling the doctor, and maybe he'll figure it out. If it ain't the pills, then you just might be pregnant.

Morning sickness doesn't usually occur that early. Did you use any other protection? You need to know the average length of your period in general...usually fertility isn't peaked on the /th day of your cycle...try this link8http://www.ovulation-calendar.net
Birth control can cause nausea and headaches...I would also check with your MD regarding your symptoms...you may need to change meds.

I would suggest taking an at home pregnancy if you have missed your period. Even if you have not, its okay to test early..the pregnancy hormone hcg is detected in the urine if you are pregnant. I have four children and I am in school for midwifery...you can get pregnant while on the pill. My mother got pregnant while on them, and you may have to get your dosage adjusted if you aren't pregnant..you may have to get a lower dosage...and you can "think" yourself into pregnancy type symptoms. Which will cause a false or psuedo pregnancy.

Birth control is not 100% effective. My wife got pregnant while on the pill, after that we used both the pill and condoms. So yes, you could be pregnant. Get one of those EPT test kits, they are pretty accurate.
