As a teacher of 9 year olds, I don't think it's a big deal if 9 year olds have boyfriends and girlfriends. I DO think it's a big deal if it means more than just telling your friends that you're dating and skating together during the couples skate. My students crush on each other all the time, and I think it's cute. At that age, it's pretty harmless. If your friend is doing anything more than holding hands with her boyfriend, I would talk to her.

Yes. I was 7 when i had a boyfriend. i was also 7 when I had my first kiss. I regret having a relationship like that when I was really young because people get the wrong idea about what kind of kid I used to be.

At that age, the only thing that constitutes a "boyfriend" is a boy who you hold hands with at school.
You can't drive, you can't go anywhere, it's really kind of stupid. Wait to date until you're around 15 or 16. So you and your boyfriend can go on REAL dates. Like dinner and a movie. What can you do when you're 9? Go to the park? Walk down the street? Please.

At 9 and 11...you thinking of habing boy friends... You indeed are Crazy.... this is a time.. when you should be playing with your parents, brothers and sisters. After you grow up, the rest of the life, you have to love and hate boys..but your childhood will never come back...

i think if u dont think about these things before 16 is better. in that age u know lots of things. but now it is not very normal. take care many things may happen for a nice girl like u. try to find some good girl friends to spend time with them & going out.that the best way u can choose now

I think that she think she has a boyfriend but she probably doesn't. She might like someone and him like her but she doesn't understand what a boyfriend is. Its normal not to have a boyfriend at your age. Once your in middle school things will change you will start liking alot more guys and they will like you. Just wait until your in middle school alot better stuff will happen with your relationships but.... alot worse stuff will happen.

yes its crazy. too young for romance & love, you guys are still not ready yet for that matter,.& having a relationship is hard you must be ready & love is risky you know. + you still really dont understand all the things that will happen / happening .you only think that youre mature enough, but youre wrong. enjoy your childhood ,i miss being a child. life is hard, youd think that i hope i was still a child. & you guys dont need to hurry on that matter,, everybody becomes a teenager & have their bf. im proud of you

well every girl goes through a period were the have a "boyfriend" but it doesnt mean anything just someone to hold hands with and maybe get there first kiss from but other than that i think its perfectly normal just kiddie love
