Pregnancy & Parenting - 3 August 2006

I could have sworn I was in labor on the 1st of August when I had some mildly intense contractions that were pretty regular for about 3 hours, but then they stopped. There was little contraction action yesterday & then last night while I was trying to sleep I had quite a few painful ones. These were bad enough to make me moan in pain. I just got up & I had a contraction that made my jaw drop because it hurt so bad, but I am still very skeptical as to whether I could be in labor. Should I walk around or take a shower or what?

i had a ultrasound from last menstrual at 15 weeks 5 days after ultrasound it was 13 weeks 5 days . my last menstrual was accurate so why they change due date if it was only 2 weeks off.

It's probably worry too because I am the "earner" in the relationship-my boyfriends mum died recently and he is a musician so doesn't work.....I have tried to talk to him about this and he thinks I am whining and to "trust him-stop worrying" -I am worrying-it's scary!! Money is an issue-been in my job 4 months-they might sack me when they find out I am pregnant.
I know my man seems like a nightmare-he can be stubborn but he is great with kids and is willing to be a bit of "house husband"!

They are always picking on each other and when I try to step in,they say mean things about me.Of course,they apologize later,but it still hurts my feelings.Would the mental health be able to figure out why they are so angry or would something else work instead.I never spank my kids,because my ex used to paddle them and left bruises on my son.I have custody of them now,and keep trying to show them that violence isn't the answer for anything.

She drinks formula every 4 hours, between 6-8 oz., although lately she has lost her appetite for formula. I've read the other potty training q & a, but my situation seems to be slightly different, so I'm here to see if anyone can help!

My son is 2 and 1/2, and I've been potty training him for 2/3 weeks now, either by letting him be naked or using underwear. He tells me when he wants to go, and will sit on the potty to wee and poo. The problem I have is no matter how close I situate the potty to him, (unless it's during one of the many times I encourage him to sit on it), when he wants to pee, he can't hold on for a milisecond and just pees where he is.

He knows he wants to get to the potty and that he's doing a pee, but it's the actual control element that's missing. Is this common? Will it improve if I persevere with the potty training, or is he just not quite ready? I'm unsure whether to continue and see if his control improves, or put him back in nappies and try again in a month or two? I've found that when I do put him in a nappy now, he immediately tells me when he's peed.

I was on Ortho Tri-Cyclen Low birth control pills I haven't taken then since June. I received my normal cycle july 2nd, however July 27th I came on again ?? I have noticed since I have been off the pill my cycle last 3 days oppose to 5. I have been off my cycle now today making 4 days and I am still cramping in the lower abdomen area. Could I be pregnant? If not, what could possibly be wrong?
