I'm an Army spouse living in Germany. I know tons of girls who get pregnant when they are active duty. You will start having a different PT so you don't harm your baby. Do you live in the barracks still? The Army will move you into a family unit before you give birth. It's up to you to find child care for your baby. Most of the posts have a CDC, or you could go through the FCC, or you could find a nanny that can stay with you. That's what our neighbor did, she was an MP and was single. You will have to have a family care plan put into your records. This specifies who your child will live with in the case that you are deployed, and who the child will live with in the case of your death. Start asking other soldier parents or spouses for ideas. Keep in mind the CDC might not open early enough for you, I know my other single neighbor had a difficult time because formation and PT were before the CDC opened, so she had to find someone to watch her baby in the morning, then when she got back from PT she would take her to the CDC.
Another option might be to have a family member come live with you, you can get them approved to live with you if they are going to be your child-care provider. Good Luck to you.
P.S.- It will be up to you to contact housing when it is time to move into a housing unit, unless you are off-post. You will have to have proof that you are going to have a baby and usually something signed by your commander.

that surely relies upon on the medical doctors. each pregnant soldier, sailor, airman, and Marine receives evaluated, and the well being practitioner determines even if constrained accountability is warranted. it really is totally hardship-free for women folk human beings who're of their first trimester to be cleared for complete accountability in the adventure that they don't carry out heavy lifting or recurring workouts that call for a severe aspect of exact exercising. As your chum progresses, she will be able to probably be placed on constrained accountability, yet for now if there is no medical reason behind her to be constrained then she receives to do her interest equivalent to all and sundry else. being pregnant contained in the military isn't a "get out of military accountability loose" card.

well, I had my first one while I was in the Air Force. It all depends on what your job is. you can still stay in. they may put you on light duty or somewhere away from hazardous materials. as for your off duty time. if your doctor says it is ok, keep working out. just watch your intensity level, and as you get your belly you will not be able t do as much be if you are in good shape then you shoud be able to work out dr\uring all of your pregnancy. congrats. and don't let anyone tell you that you have to get out, that is a load of BS.
blessed be.

You need to contact your Army Community Service Center for further assistance. They have programs that help single soldiers with children. Talk to your Platoon SGT or 1st SGT I am sure they will help you.
