Pregnancy & Parenting - 3 August 2006

My son is 3 years old. He goes to daycare while I go to work and plays with other children there but he has no one to play with at home (weekends). He has many cousins in my side of the family but we live far from them. We live near his father and his grandmother but there are no other children in their family. I try to be fun and take him places but I can tell that he is lonely. When we go to the park, he sits and looks at other kids play, the same when I take him to the pool or chuck e cheese. I have tried to invite his “friends” from daycare to the house but non of the parents have ever showed up.

What can I do to help my son find a friend who would visit and play with him at home? Is he to small for this kind of friends? Should I let him get his own friends? I don’t know what to do!

My name is Nayyah and I am 15 years old and I lost my about a month ago and I feel depressed I cant eat right and when I do eat I cant hold it down. My husband and I have been TTC and this morning my period is due. I took a test this AM (first responce) and there was a VERY FAINT 2nd line. Basically if you were to see it sitting on a counter, you couldn't see the line, but if you picked it up and looked, you could see it. My husband also saw it so I know it wasn't just my imagination. What I am asking is, has this ever happened to anyone then come to find out you were/were not pregnant? Yes, I will be taking another one if I don't start in a couple days

My 15 mths old baby gets up at least 7-8 times at night to have a feed.If i don't offer him then he cries like anything and at last i hv to give him.During daytime also he wants it before sleeping and otherwise also he wants it at least 3 times.He doesnt want to take solid food.He turns his face to most of the food.In general he likes fruits and doesnt take any external milk and has never taken bottle.He has 8 teeth so i don't know if it is a teething problem.Whole day he is clinging to me and his father is travelling most of the time so i'm the one with him for entire day.Till 6 mths he was ok in health but it went down and down and he is very skinny now.He is very moody in eating.I just want to wean him becoz i don't think it is helping him in anyways and rather it makes me run out energy.Whole night i can't sleep becoz of his feeding habbits.Is there any way i can wean him so that he starts taking solid food and external milk.I have tried variety of food with him but nothing works

When girls are born, they should have a chip implanted in them that keeps them from being able to become prego. If she decided later on in life that she wants to have kids then she and the prospective father would have to go through something similiar to a court proceeding at which point a judge/jury would decide whether or not to allow the pregnancy. This would do away with teen pregnancies, trailer trash having kids, and it would save us money becasue we wouldn't be supporting Mary Joe Sue and her illegitimate 7 kids. What do you think about this??

This is my first pregnancy and I am 14 weeks pregnant. I have been going to my prenatal appointments but sometimes/NOT AT ALL feel pregnant. I wake up in the morning and my tummy is flat. I'm going absolutely crazy about this! I'm being induced tonight at 41 weeks. And I still don't have a baby name yet. I've looked through books and websites. I've asked for opinions. And everything I pick and really like my husband doesn't. I really want to use a traditional/old fashioned name that is still unique, in style, and cute. The names I came up with and he didn't like are Lucia, Isabelle, Sofia, and Madelyn. The only name he'll agree to is Lillian, but I just don't feel it's the right one. Please help!

Ok....once u get a positive on the ovulation stick does that mean you should have intercource NOW up to three days?

Is it necessary to test twice a day and why would u do this?

What if you test neg in the am and positive in the pm is that possible?

I took a pregnancy test on Tuesday July 25th, period not due until July 30th it came back positive 3 times. Now I had an ultrasound today and they couldn't see anything besides a tiny sac. They said I was really early like possibly only 4 weeks...Now why would I get 3 home pregnancy tests to be positive and 1 positive at the clinic so early? Could that mean twins?

My going to be four year old son. Has this big aditude lately. Screaming at me all the time and not listening, hitting his sister. He does not have any other problems like ADHD or anything like that. Its the kids at his babysitters he gets this from I am thinking he dont get it from me. I dont bellive in spanking a child unless they really deserve it. I had put him in time outs, sent him to his room, took his toys away and all he did with me taking his toys away was "here you go mommy give them to the little boy". He has a great personality and a sense of humor but just latlely he has been doing this. Nothing has changed been spending time with both my kids like always. Please help

I am supposedly 7 weeks prego given that the date of my LMP was June 13th. I never got a period on July 13th. My cycle infact is more often on a 26 day schedule where my period comes about 4-5 days before the last month. So I did a test on the 12th with EPT First Response, that came positive around 12noon when i tested. Then i did another test on the 14th at night and it was positive again. Second time i tested, my positive lines showed up within 30 seconds!!!
Yesterday I had my OB Nurse visit. They took my urine and blood test to check for infections and the blood is for AIDS, anemia, diabetes, blood type and all that. None of the tests they took were for confirming pregnancy, why is that? They charge the patient to specially test for pregnancy. How can they be sure I am prego? I mean yes I have had the morning sickness last week and from last 3 weeks been having nausea, no vomiting. Now its better if I eat every 2 hours a little something, then the nausea is gone. But why
