My sister is 12 years old and keeps asking everyone what she can do for a job to raise money. My mom already said no babysitting or dogwalking! SOMEONE HELP MEEEEEE!!!!

Does anyone think that sex eduation for 4th graders is too soon? Considering that kids are having sex starting in the 4th grade. Is this too early of an education or should it be stalled until 5th grade. I would like to know anyone thoughts, feelings, reactions ,etc on the matter. Thanxs

I've been getting a lot of bloody noses since I've been pregnant. I know they say that this is something common in pregnant women, but are there any remedies? I sometimes get them at work, and I have to stop working and tend to this. Is there anything to help this? Thanks!

I am 9 months pregant and I was supposed to go into labor 2 weeks ago on the 24.This is my second child but with my first child this didnt happen.I havent had any contractions yet I dont know why this is happening my doctor told me that I would have to probably wait another week or two.But I dont think I can wait that long my stomach is so tight that it hurt,my whole body hurt.WHEN DO YOU THINK I WILL GO INTO LABOR??

i have been ttc for 1.5 years and no luck last month i had a bit of spotting then nothing for 2 weeks so i had thoguht i was pregnant i took 3 tests one week appart and they were all negative now its been about 3 weeks and i have been spotting about every other day no period though what could this be? also i have irregular periods but this has never happend before .

My sister is expecting a baby girl and is set on giving her the name "Susan". To me it sounds kind of boring and overused, considering that most of my teachers (who were born in the 60's) are called "Sue". I have very irregular periods and we are not able to conceive. I wanted to know how many different types of medication/treatment is there for me? Is there still hope? Am I ever going to be able to have a baby? Sometimes I only get my period two times a year and to be honest it never bothered me before nor did I care about it. But now we want to have a baby and of course we are having a major problem. It is very depressing--Cause you feel like a loser. My doctor prescribed me Metformin (But due to my elevated liver) I am not able to take it. (I live in Chicago---Can anyone recommend me a good doctor that can actually help us and give us hope!!) I am not sure what to do...She also prescribed me Prenatal pills to take now---How important is it to take the pills now? Will it make me gain weight? What is the benefit of taking the prenatal pills?

My fiance and I had unprotected sex just hours before I knew I was due on my period. I got my period as predicted but it was much shorter than normal (only about 4 days rather than the normal 8). What I want to know is would I have still had my period if I did become pregnant on that occasion? I think it's too soon to bother the doctor as it's only been a couple of weeks and it's surely too soon for a home test to be accurate.

I use tangle-free shampoo, Suave, I think it is. I have a special pick, but I hate to use it because she fusses about it so much. I also have some spray that I spray on before brushing. That helps some. Is there anything that really works well to prevent tangles? I hate to cut it, but each day we move closer and closer to that option.

I don't mean to gross anyone out but what color should the discharge be when you are pregnant? Okay I have been spotting brown blood for about 3 weeks now and it is getting less everyday. A couple days ago i quit spotting and started having yellowish clear discharge. But then the spotting returned. Today I went to the bathroom and wiped and it was discharge again but it looked kinda brownish tan. I think that it may be mixed with a little of the brown blood that I have been having. I don't go to the doctor for until the 10th. But when I made the appt I asked the nurse about the brown spotting and she said that it sounded like old blood. Has anyone ever done this? I am going to the doctor I just want to know if anyone has ever done this.

I am 40 weeks pregnant and scheduled for a c-section in less than a week but i am debating over whether or not I should allow the father to attend. I know it will be stressfull for me to have him there because he has not been very supportive and the last time we spoke he said he didnt want to talk to me anymore.

He says his family is arriving from Pennsylvania and New Jersey on Saturday to California where I live to see the baby but I have had no contact with them whatsoever.
he broke up with me when i told him I was pregnant and has been uninvolved for the most part ever since. He doesnt seem to care but I know his family does as they are flying in from the other side of the country to meet their new grand-daughter and neice. He on the other hand would never even take a bus halfway across town 20 minutes when I was in the hospital or to our doctors apointments.
I am at a loss as to what to do. I'm afraid if i call to let him know the date we'll just end up fighting again.

I posted about her when she was younger and someone advised that I should put her down and not pick her up. I've been trying to follow a routine - lunch, diaper, books, nap. She will not sleep. Then, by late afternoon, early evening, she is overly tired and so extremely fussy. One day, I even tried the lay her back down every time she stands up thing. (I put her down 80 times and gave up) How do I get her to nap? I want her to be able to get the appropriate hours of sleep that she needs. Thanks!!!

HI ALL - IM A PROUD MUM OF A 5WK OLD SON. I'D LIKE TO GIVE UP WORK AND BE A HOUSEWIFE BUT DON'T KNOW HOW TO DO IT! IT TOOK ME A LONG TIME TO GET PREGNANT DUE TO FERTILITY ISSUES AND IM NOT CERTAIN I CAN CONCEIVE AGAIN. I DON'T WANT TO BE BACK WORKING 40+HRS A WEEK AND MISS MY SON.

MY HUSBAND EARNS LESS THAN 10K AND MY INCOME WOULD BE 0. PART-TIME ISNT AN OPTION EITHER (FROM WORK'S POINT OF VIEW). IT WOULDNT BE A PERMANENT WORK BREAK AND NOT A DECISION IM MAKING LIGHTLY AS MY CAREER HAS BEEN VERY IMPORTANT TO ME AND I'VE WORKED HARD TO GET WHERE I AM PROFESSIONALLY.

WHAT I'D LOVE IS ANY GUIDANCE ON HOW TO MANAGE FINANCIALLY AND ANY OTHER MUMS OPINIONS / ADVICE.
