I told my husband right away, of course, our parents right after my first doctor's visit (they would be crushed if the test had been wrong) and everyone else at the end of the first trimester. We wanted to be past the main miscarriage window before we told our friends and the world, just in case.

My close friends as soon as I found out! My mom I told the same day. I still waiting to tell my dad, I still a little nerves about that.
I didn't want to tell the people I work with until I was further along, but a very nosy co-worker over heard my conversation on the phone with the doctor's office. So she felt the need to tell everyone in the office.
Thanks a lot, butthead! I would have not told anyone until I started to show. But that person has ruined it for me.
Anyway!! GOOD LUCK AND CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!!!

I told my boyfriend, immidiatly and I told my mother the next day. Being 19 and unwed, I knew she would be disappointed, not mad, but diappointed. Shes really excited now to be a grandmother. I did also tell my friends right away. I knew I shouldn't have in the case I had a miscarriage, but oh well. I heard its best to tell after or during the thirf moth when the chance for miscarriage is smaller.

My husband read the positive test to me.

We called our three closest friends and his dad within the hour. We told my mother about a month later, and she told my father. Long story, but I had to re-establish contact with my mom first! We told his dad and sister about a month after THAT, after he got back in touch with them as well. We didn't really wait at all; we just started telling everyone we wanted to share with.

I told the father of my children right away...I waited to tell the others until after 12 weeks because of the chances of miscarriages decrease.

I waited at least 10 minutes to tell my mother and 3 days to tell my father. My father was kind of upset when he found out because he was the last to know.

The day after i told my boyfriend, i told my mom and sister, and seeing as I use to joke about it, for April's fools day, they thought i was kidding. We waited to tell our friends, on New Years at midnight we broke out the cigars and handed them out and made the big announcment! That was an emotional time.... :)

Good Luck!
