Well, it's normal thing, more or less.
Having sex is something that our parents do, from time to time. You'll do the same thing with your husband (or wife, I don't know if you're boy or a girl).
Anyway, you should be aware of next facts:
1) it's normal to feel the shame because you don't like to participate in their privacy
2) when you get married, try to hide this activity from your children (and from anybody else)
3) if this happens again, ask your mom to take care more about you (tell her that you want her to be your mother, and that you feel shame when you become witness of something that's not your private affair)
4) don't be angry on her if that happened unintentionally.
Stay well!

Are you jealous? Whats the problem? You should have walked away and minded your own business. Sex is part of life which you will learn soon enough. BUT if you are truly bothered that much by it I would say Talk to your mom or stepfather. If your a girl, talk to her, if your a boy then him.

Imagine how they feel. Chances are they are feeling a bit awkward about it, too. With time it'll blow over and eventually become one of those humorous incidents that everybody will chuckle over at family get-togethers.
So what where they doing?

Hey, they are your mother & father & its natural that they make love to each other. So, why this thought in your mind? Is it because he is your step dad? Come on. You have to accept that.

talk to them about it. tell them how it made you feel and ask them to keep their private affairs behind closed doors so you can't accidentally walk in on them any more.
