what would happen if a girl who has her period doesn't wear a tampon when she went swimming?

Well some people have told me that it stops temporarily when you're in the water, but I wouldn't take the chance. You really should wear a tampon for the sake of other people, or to avoid any possibly embarrassing moments. It isn't really that bad to wear one. You'll get used to them. If you don't feel comfortable wearing a tampon, just wait until you don't have your period to go swimming.

There would be blood in the pool & it would be pretty messy. My advice if you are not confortable wearing a tampons to not go swimin trust

a lot of blood would get all over the place so i suggest that you wear a tampon

Most girls stop bleeding when they get in water especially if it is cold btu, if I were u I would wear a tampon just incase.

no actualy the blood flow stops while ur in the water and last about 20 min- 30 min after ur out, atlease it does 4 me. u can try it out by taking a normal bath while ur on it if u dont believe me

ok yea blood would be everywhere so please wear one because thats just nasty!!! and if your not confortable wearing tampons then wait until your off your period to go swimming.

Blood in the pool...probably not noticeable while in the water but once you get it might run down your leg.
