if parents put their kids first instead of their jobs fewer teens would be pregnant
however mom and dad think they must both work full time jobs and the kids are left behind - bored and feeling unloved, often raised by day cares they cling to any attention they can get - so if its a horney boy they wind up pregnant ... some get pregnant on purpose because they see all the attention babies or other pregnant women get and want that attention
its sad really - because all these babies are growing up into the same cycle and most will also be pregnant at young age... living on welfare or whatever

Lots of reasons for that, really. Some of it is a bona fide misunderstanding as to how pregnancy really occurs; some of it is this belief that it just won't happen to them. Some of it is because they actually think getting pregnant will keep their boyfriends nearby. Sometimes they're lonely and think that if they have a baby then that's someone who love them all the time. And, too, there's girls having babies because they think they're so cute and don't realize they've got their difficult moments, too.

My friend was a senior and had birth control but got in trouble for using it while on school property. They told her parents whom didn't know about it and now she isn't using it because her parents wont let her. She is now pregnant and due next month. She was raped though by her own father. Disgusting world.

Wow. It isnt anybody but the parents job to educate children. If your child gets pregnant dont try and blame the govt, blame yourself. Freakin take some responsibilty here people. They can try and help, but ultimately they arent the child's parent.

i dont think its from not getting enough information thats a lame excuse because on tv and in schools all they stress is condoms. but i really do think they try to get preg. to make the guy stay with them

education. stupid conservatives refuse to educate many youth about birth control, and then youth go on beliefs myths like "pulling out works".

schools don't teach birth control...they teach abstinence. Obviously they're still gonna have sex so they need to teach about correct birth control

girl idk... i guess they just dont have any information about safe sex or just rush into it. there are alot of reasons...
