My 8 month old does not sleep thru the night, I feed her six meals a day, 3 formula and 3 solids which onclude yougurt, veggies and fruit, she is a small eater to begin with. Until 4 months she slept thru the night but for the last 4 mts she has not, she keeps waking up and then I rock her to sleep sometimes bring her into my bed. SOmetimes she wakes up and is up for an hour in the middle of the night. I have tried feeding her at that time thinking she is hungry but she will barely have an ounce of formula. SHe eats again after a gap of 12 hrs. I don't think she is hungry and therefore waking up. SHe is up almost 4 to 5 times and then i lay near her and pet her to sleep she goes back to sleep but i am sleep deprived

Should kids be allowed to spend more time with their friends more than their siblings? If kids say that they don't want to spend time with their siblings and play with them, should they still be allowed to spend time to play with their friends and be with them?

There are some parents that don't let their teenage children hang out with their friends unless they spend a certain amount of time with their siblings. That is unfair. Do you think so? Kids shouldn't have their priviledges taken away because they don't want to spend time with siblings and family. Right? There is nothing wrong with not wanting to spend time and play with siblings, right?

My daughter is 18 months old, and she has been showing big signs that she is ready to train. She leaves the room to make a BM or even pee, she takes off her diaper as soon as she uses it, she wakes up dry, ect. But she still doesnt talk. She understands what we say just fine, and she babbles pretty sharply, like she knows what she WANTS to say, she just doesnt talk.

How would you approach training for this situation? What age did you train your girls?

I can understand that he is a "night" person, meaning that his biosystem is more tuned to night time than to day time activities. even if he keeps awake all day, which he actually does, when night and darkness falls, he feels energized and loves to play at that time. He usually wakes up at 10 am. and it's going to cause problems when he has to go to school very soon (first grade). please advise. Thank you guys and gals

My daughter was born at 32 weeks, not intubated and seems healthy now physically. Can these children suffer psychologically from the lack of physical contact from being in an incubator for several weeks?
