Pregnancy & Parenting - 19 July 2006

I just want to give them up for adoption. Can I do this? They're really annoying. I'm tired of slapping them around every day and locking them in the basement. One of them is so bad, he's been sleeping in the garage lately with the dogs. I was thinking of just dropping them off on a street corner somewhere in the ghetto and promising to come back but then leaving town and disappearing. Can I do this? I can't wait to not have kids.

When I put my 4 month old baby to bed at night I always put him on his back, but you can guarantee that he is on his tummy when i go to bed. During the day the only way he can get himself to sleep is by laying on his tummy. I turn him back but he goes straight back again. I am worried sick about cot death and really not sure what I can do.

I am 37 weeks pregnant today. Yesterday I had a doctor appointment and found out that I am 2cm dilated, -1 station. I never did ask about what % effaced I am, does anyone know? Also, this is my second pregnancy. I was induced with my first and in labor for 18 hours. My doctor said yesterday that I was in the same place I am now with my first back then. My first was a girl and this one is a boy if that makes any difference. Please help. I am very anxious and nervous being that I am a stay at home mom and home alone with my 23 month old daughter all day.

I am 17weeks pregnant and I have a 7month old who drinks only breast milk. My Dr. says that I should start weaning her because breastfeeding causes miscarriages. Any research or info will be helpful

I am 28 weeks pregnant with my first baby, and my doctor's office has asked me to come in for a Rhogam shot. I am a blood type A+ and my husband is a B+. I thought only people who were a negative blood type needed this shot?

my periods are very irregular i had not have my period since march and i talked to my doc about wanting to get pregnant so she put me on provera to induce my period but the label on the medication reads:do not use if you plan to become pregnant.i was wondering if my doc is going to put me on another medication to hel me ovulate or jst the provera is gonna help me ovulate.
has anybody gone through this b4?what did you do to get pregnant?

I hav eworked for my boss for over 4 years (I am an executive Assistant) I have a daughter who si 8 month sold and I am now 8 weeks pregnant (and not feeling well) My boss knows I am pregnant btw. He is abusive and rude and always has been and I usually put up with it cause I am being paid well. But now that I feel so terrible I really don't have it in me to deal with his crap. Especially since he was so mean to me last time I was pregnant. All of my reviews say nothing but stellar things about me and my past work is 100% perfect! So Can I get fired for being out of it and grumpy and not wanting to take his **** anymore?

Is it good to teach kids good manners??? I have a daugther of 5yrs I remember teaching her to say thank you, she didn't speak at that time but I knew she understood, and as she grow I started to teach her good manners. like no thank you , yes thank you & all the good manners & she learn little by little, now I have a boy who's 20 moths I he has learn some good things specially from his sister, he say thanky you in his own words, my hubby says he is too little to be learnig good manners but I don't agree with him.. I think It is better for their own good that way they will now how to respect other's.... U as a parent do you think it is okay for them to learn so little or do I have to wait more ....

Back in May 2006 I started using birth control (Loestrin 24FE) But in June my husband and I decided that we would like to have another child (since our baby is six now). So we are trying.... I had a peroid from June 14-18. Now it is July 29th and no peroid. I am ALWAYS 28 days... I have taken birth control before and still stayed on the same pattern 28 days. I have taken four pregnant test and all state negative. I have been having peroid cramps for almost 2 weeks now, sore breast, tired, and very ill (bitchy). Can anyone give me advice as what I should do?? I have already called the Dr. and she would like for me to come in tomorrow but I really don't want to spend $40 just to find out that I am not. Has anyone else had this happen to them? When should I take another test? Any advice would be helpful... Thanks

My daughter was born 3 months early. She has had lots of health problems in the past, but most have smoothed themselves out. I only have the one child so I don't know much about kids. Is it normal for a two year old not to have good balance. always tripping over things and running into things. It seems like she doesn't pay attention to where she's going or something. I've had her eyes checked, she went to physical therapy until she turned two which did nothing that I didn't do at home, but the whole balnce thing is throwing me off. I know i may sound a little stupid, but does anyone else have problems with a two year old who's always off balance.

...with his 6th ear infection (both ears every time might I add) and the drs are starting to consider doing the tubes in his ears but he has already had one surgery at nine months to drop an undescended testicle and I dont want to see him have to go thru another surgery even though i know its probably for the better. Have any of you had to make this decision of whether to opt for the tubes or not? Please help

I have a 10 year old and lately I can't seem to hold mt babies.3 misscariages and one tubal.They removed my tube three weeks ago.My doc said that it's something were you have no problem carrying the 1st but trying to concieve the 2nd go round is hard.I 4got the name of it.Is this true?I never heard of it b4.And mt daughter and my fiancee who has no kids wants a child really bad any ideas?

She was on birth control for 3 years. Then her insurance kicked off, and she went off of it. We had protected sex with a condom, but that was it. Before she went on birth control, she got her period every 2-3 months. It's been near a month since she got it. Could she possibly be pregnant? How would we know?

i thought i was pregnant but yesturday i started to bleed. it was heavy in the morning, thten as the day went on it wasn't so heavy but it was. it was dark blood in the morning. i couldn't walk, smell food, dizzy, headach, i couldn't eat.

then today my friend told me that i still could be pregnant caz my body lets go of blood to get ready for the baby. today i had a pain in my tummy like in the morning. and i have a small one now on the right side. i am shaky and i am not hungry.
