2 years ago, My X and I separated and he kicked me outta the house. I left my children there, ONLY because I had no place to go....... After a year the divorce went through and he got custody of 4 outta 5 kids, I got my oldest son. Well, now I am a stable person. Have a house, etc. I want my kids back and am currently going to court. BUT, now I am scared because everyone is telling me the judge isn't going to let me have my kids because I left them and can't prove that their Dad is no good????? I live in AZ! I am their MOther, is there anyway to get past having to prove he is a piece of ****?

My 18 month old baby girl who is very healthy has suddenly developed a problem ( the past 2 hours). She seems to have lost her balance. When she walks she is struggling. We have checked her feet and legs there seems to be no bruises indicating that she could have been hurt. She is still so jovial & full of life, no fever or anything to indicate she is sick. We have massaged her feet &d legs & she enjoyed it. My husband thinks it could have been that needle & pins sensation that was causing but for two hours. Any advise will be appreciated. A friend thought it could be meningitis but I looked up the symptoms & she has nothing. She is just struggling to walk. We have taken her slippers off. Has this happened to any of your kids. I have 4 children & this is the first time I have experienced something like this & it is driving me insane not knowing what it is. I tried calling her doctor but to no avail. It would have to be first thing in the morning. I am in South Africa.

My family had a birhtday party for me yesterday. After the party was over, my dad shouted at me for two hours because I looked tired. There was finals on my birthday, so I had to study the day before. He told me that I was a worthless child and that I should have pretended to not look tired during the party. He added many other things when he was shouting that I won't say here. This hurt me because I my dad kept saying stuff that lowered my self esteem. What should I do?

Okay..I've been getting MANY conflicting answers to this question and I'm curious as to what you think about this.

Some people say not to use baby lotion after a baby's bath, and some people swear by it. What are your thoughts on this?

My period is due today and it has not come so far...My last period was on May 12th and I have had unprotected sexual intercourse with my boyfriend around the time of ovulation, but I don't think he ejaculated in me, but about 1-2 weeks ago I had a little pinkish-brownish discharge that lasted about 2 days, indigestion and heartburn, and abdominal cramps that lasted about one day (it felt like menstrual cramps, but I never get those way in advance of my period. I either get them the day or night before my period comes). Is it possible that I can be pregnant through pre-ejaculation (pre-***) or pregnant at all? Should I wait a little longer to take a test, or should i take one now? Please help!

I feel a little depressed and almost like i'll never have this baby. I don't want to seem impatient, but when my due date came and passed, it really got me thinking. I'm schedualed for a BPP exam tomorrow to make sure that everything is okay. And Monday they will offer me the option of being induced. I'm just so fried.. You can really only stand to be pregnant for so long. Anyway, anyone have any tips just to SOMEWHAT jump start labor?

I have physical therapy for my knee twice a week and they use this machine which is like a stimulant - where they put two patches and you get little electrical shooting to the muscle; I believe it is call the Russian Machine. Does anyone know if this is safe? I am five weeks pregnant. I just found out.

While registering for my baby shower, I noticed that different nipples had different "flows." As in "medium flow." Are there certain ages where these different nipples are useful? Do you start off with a slow flowing nipple, then graduate to a heavier flowing nipple?

Thanks in advance for your answers!

I don't want to sound like an idiot, but I'm really curious about the different uses for receiving blankets. I've asked two mothers and they both said, "everything." Can anyone be more specific?

This is for a story I'm writing, and with lack of personal experience, I wanted to see what other people thought. So, you take a pregnancy test and it's positive. What do you do then? Wait a few days and take another test? See your doctor? What's the next step? Thanks for your help.
