Show the child who is in charge. The child needs to learn that slapping and cursing is wrong. Start with timeouts...if that doesn't work, start taking toys away. You need to be firm

you never mention the age of the child. Hmm....sursing. That could be anywhere from 10-12 years old minimum. Well, seems like you've really gone a bit too far to try and train your kid now. So, besides beating the tar out of the kid, call the police. Unless you liked being slapped. Hey, if you can't handle it. the law will.

How old is this child? If he is 18 or older, mom should probably call the police. If he is younger, then mom has lost her child's respect, which is a bad thing for both of them. Mom needs to reassert her authority and created consistently enforced consequences for this behavior.
A great book about this is How Much Is Enough? by Jean Illsley Clarke. It has techniques and information on parenting for children who are 1 year old up to adult children.

what?! first of all where is this child getting his language from?? that needs to be taken care of asap. second, i am a firm believer in spanking, if he slaps you/her, you give him a couple of stings on his butt or leg and MAKE him sit somewhere quiet, like a bedroom and tell him to sit there, he is a child, she is the mother, DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. there is no reason that child should have gotten that way anyway, thats rediculous. whatever the mother was doing to let her child get that way needs to do the opposite. and she or whoever needs to stop cussing in front of a child.

if this person keeps letting this happen, the child will only lose more respect for the mother than she already has.

start with explaining that is no acceptable and then give her a time-out or take away a favorite activity. show her that you are the mother and you are in control.

WELL, AS DOCTORS SAY IF UR KID SLAPS YOU SLAP HIM/HER BACK OR TAKE THE CHILD ANDPUT HIM/HER ON A COLD BATH, AND THEN UR CHILD WILL EVENTUALLY LEARN. DOCTOR SAID SO.
