My name is on the invitation for helping to give the shower. I didn't know it would be. I feel cheap. I have no money to chip in, but would like to do something. Any creative ideas? I'm thinking about making her a scrapbook of tips from those who attend the shower. Another idea is to write my impending niece a journal. I don't know. Any ideas would be much appreciated. I am sooo excited I'll get to be an auntie again! Thanks in advance.

My girlfriend is not on the pill because of family history?
At the moment my girlfriend is not on the pill and we had a near hit and miss with a dodgy condom.

I questioned her about this as it efffects me too. She said she isn't on it because of family history medical issues. Not going into much detail with her and sensitive of the fact that she lost her mother to breast cancer not so long ago, is there any medical / family history issues why women shouldn't go on the pill ....
Obviously this causes hormones and stuff to go a bit wild, physcological problems, i have heard to be an issue...

Excuse my ignorance but i am a bloke and need to know these things...

Any good advise is welcome ....

When I was 16, I had an abortion. I have regretted that choice every day since then. When I was almost 18, engaged, I had a miscarriage at 5.5 months along due to domestic violence. The doctor told me that I would never be able to have children due to scar tissue. When I was 19, I was pregnant again this time a high risk due to past problems. I was told while pregnant that my baby would be "retarded and not live past 6 months" old due to something called Trisomy 18. She was born 5 weeks early with no medical problems besides asthma and allergies. She is now 6 years old and doing wonderfully with no major problems. Then when I was 23 I was pregnant and doing well, I was in a bad car accident and lost a baby at 17 weeks. I am now 26 years old, been with hubby for 6 years, married 4. We would love another baby, but it just doesn't seem to happen. How you deal with your cycle every month? Sometimes, I get very depressed about it...... Any suggestions on helping me deal?

I have an 8 month old son, since the day he was born, I simply love the way he smells. Beats whatever perfume my wife has. Now I look like an idiot for smelling him all the time, whether he took a bath or not.

What should I tell her. She already asked me to help her stop. And I ran out of advice, she is addicted to it. Her dad or brothers don't care as long as she doesn't get pregnent. Problem is we can only communicate through email too. Can someone help me!
