That is a very cruel attitude for anyone to have toward an 8 year old child. It sounds like this poor kid needs a good physical to find out if this is being caused by a medical problem. Something is going on that just doesn't sound normal. However, if you have a job, you must be an adult! So, try to act like one! The poor boy must be teased horribly by other children, so any adult that knows this child should try to make his life a little easier, not harder. I have never seen a child that was a little freak! There is no such child! If you said that about my child I would probably beat the crap out of you, so I think you need to be very careful making comments like that around the work place. This guy may just kill you for talking about his son that way. Did it ever occur to you that the child may have a life threatening disease and the father just wants to be with his child as much as possible? So, get a life and pick on someone your own age. Leave 8 year olds alone, they are too young to be called names by an adult. You should never become a father because if your child is around you and develops your attitude towards others, I don't think many people will like him or her. This is the most disturbing thing I have read on here in a while. Name calling is always bad, but I still can't believe that an adult could call a child a freak for any reason, but especially, because of something that is obviously a medical problem. This is beyond my comprehension!!!

First of all, have a little respect. That's a child you're talking about, not a freak. It's not his fault that he's having some early puberty issues. And how is it any of your business that he's having these problems? You're the parent's co-worker, not a family member. You need to mind your own business about that as it has nothing to do with you. You should talk to your boss if your co-worker's son is causing a distraction. However, I wouldn't suggest you say it in this way. You sound like an immature brat. You're supposed to be an adult, but you sound like you're younger than your co-worker's son. The first thing you need to do is grow up.

You need to remember this person you are speaking about is a child. I'm sure he doesn't want to have to shave. He has some medical condition that is making him have to shave. He has no control over it. Its not as if he is putting snot on your desk you know :) he he I would just tell the co worker its distracting to have him in the office or something I know its hard to bring up. Maybe tell your manager they will HAVE to have the talk with them if its bothering others.

Why do you know his shaving habits? Does he shave in the office? Why is he at the office, insurance doesn't cover that. What part is creepy to you? He's hairy, not freaky. Unless he is interferring with you or your work, just move on and stay out of his business. Something is not right about this entire situation. Try again.

Are you serious. First, I can understand early puberty but I have trouble believing that an 8 year old needs to shave twice a day. so, thanks for the 2 points.
But, if there is some reality to this situation - Have a little respect. It's bad enough that he'll be teased by his peers but having a 'mature' adult calling him a freak is devastating.
Grow up!

Just because the child has some issues doesn't mean he is a freak. There are some medications that can cause that kind of hair growth. I think you might need to grow up and be a little more sensitive to the kids feelings.

Ok, your co-workers son is a child, not a freak, and it sounds to me as if he needs to be assessed by a medical professional. So, instead of being judgemental...why not gently suggest it to your co-worker.
As for the child being in the workplace, that is an issue for your supervisors...talk to them.

FIRST OF ALL CHILDREN ARE NOT "FREAKS"
you should love and Cherish any child no matter what they look like,
2nd why is the child going to the work place and not the park?
3rd pray to god that your child does not have any physical problems or you may have to go through something worse than shaving!!!

If he's the boss he can do whatever he wants and you have to get used to it. I can't see how the fact of shaving can make you think he's a freak. You must be not be very accepting of different people.

"how do I ask him to keep that little freak away?...It's creepy"
ROF LMBAO!
You are so wrong for that!
I do not believe he shave twice a day, btw. But stop--that's a child, if he does have overactive hormones it's not his fault. (lol)
