Just lost 50 lbs, and back to the size I was when I got married.
CARDIO......I used the treadmill and walked uphill for 40mins a day 5 days a week. You also need to do ab work. Using a ball start with crunches, and side twist. Just remember all the exercises in the world will not help if you don't eat right as well.
If you can also see about a personal trainer, they usually run anywhere from 20 to 75 dollars a session, but if your serious it is definitely worth it. It also helps to have a work out partner, someone to help you be accountable and someone to talk to during work outs....it makes the time go by faster and makes the work seam easier.

I get great results using my elliptical trainer and Pilate's. The elliptical trainer burns fats very quickly and is easy on the joints, and Pilate's really concentrates on toning the "problem areas" you get after having a baby. If you can't get an elliptical trainer, than some cardio training would work too (walking, running, jogging, bicycling, swimming, or maybe some Richard Simmons -funny yes but easy on the body) and still do the Pilate's.

I lost my baby weight simply by walking the stairs. We lived in the 2nd floor apartment and the laundry was in the basement. It was up and down stairs constantly doing the laundry, going to doctors visits, and going shopping. Its something that you dont think of that really helps to burn that weight off. Also just eat a healthy diet. I know eating becomes harder with a newborn, however it is necessary. Eat things high in protein and iron and you should be set. And remember, take it easy. Too much excercise too soon isnt too good. Take it slow.

My suggestion is to make sure your pelvic floor muscles are closed again before starting to loose weight as if you don't that's how many women end up keeping their mummy tummy's no matter how hard they exercise. My friend is a physiotherapist and she old me this and you would never know i have a child except for the stretch marks.
Good Luck and i hope this helps

If you have recently delivered avoid execise for about 2 weeks.(if its vaginal delivery),in any other case start after 6 weeks.
You wil be glad to know breast feeding helps to lose most of your fat.dont miss this oppurtunity.you can start with walking or swimming if u can n then progress. yoga wil make you flexible n bring back the tone of your muscles.
Note:Its important you try to avoid any rigorous dieting or exersising.go slow first then progress gradually.

depends on your fitness level.
My wife started to walk alot and swim.
If your are quite fit then something like tiebo ( don't know about the spelling) or some other sort of cardio program
