I use the Nuva Ring. Love it. Period starts within a few days of removing it and stops within a few days of re-inserting it. U wear it all month so you dont need to remember to pop a pill each day at the same timei (I got pregnant on Ortho Tri Cyclene becasue i messed up my times of taking it!).
Discuss all options with your doctor and your lifestyle and schedule to figure out which one is best for your needs.

Depo Provera. A shot every three months isn't as inconvenient as a pill every day, or copper in places it shouldn't be. Been on it close to six years now, and love it!

I've tried the pill and condoms (lead to my first pregnancy which I miscarried ), I've tried the depo shot (lead to my son), and finally decided nothing was working and now I'm pregnant again (surprise surprise). Although I had unprotected sex for years prior to my three pregnancy and nothing happened then. NOTHING IS 100% EFFECTIVE! It you don't want to get pregnant, don't have sex. I believe that if you aren't ready to deal with the consequences (Ex: AIDS, children, herpes, chlamydia) then don't have sex.
