Pregnancy & Parenting - 9 June 2006

I'm having problems posting; so excuse me if this is a repeat.

My son's father is no longer spending time with our child...he was there for the first 10 months; but has decided that he no longer wants to be involved.

He never revealed our son to his family. I was trying to get him to do it, but he didn't. Now that he is choosing to not be involved, I want to contact his family (I don't have a relationship with them either) to let them know that their family tree has grown. I would like to invite them to his 1st birthday party or at least a brunch the day after. How do I approach this? I am not doing this out of spite, in fact I have no desire to discuss his fathers and my relationship. I just believe in family and I want my son to have access to his family.

I've been taking my prenatal vitamins for about a week now and I've noticed that I have more energy and that I feel like I am able to focus and accomplish a lot more at work and at home. Could it be the vitamins or is it just that I'm sooo excited to start trying to concieve in the near future?

my son is 5 and drives me mad!! he is totally disobedient, aggressive with other children, destroys everything he sees, a problem at school etc etc. i really feel i cant cope anymore. can anyone help? i have been to the doctors and he says he will grow out of it!! he also has glue ear which is currently under going investigation, so i am aware his ears could be affecting his behaviour. i feel exhausted by the whole situation and feel we can not have a normal family life because it is one continuous battle....help??

Nothing seems to be going my way lately. I have cried myself to sleep four nights in a row. My parents are not understanding that I am 16 and need freedom! They wont give me that and they always yell at me for doing nothing. Also this guy who says he really likes me wont make a move or anything!! Its so annoying I just need some advice.

I had my membranes stripped on Wednesday, I was 80% effaced and 2cm dilated. I did have contractions on Wednesday and some yesterday on and off. But today it feels like it basically stopped. How long does it take, why are my contractions not getting stronger and closer together to go into labor? Im 39 weeks, I dont want to go over my due date, this baby is going to be huge if I do!

Ok, so I've read up on what some people say is good to write in baby shower thank you cards. My problem is that I don't know who gave me what. My mother threw the shower, and there were only people from her job that I've never met! I know it's very thoughtful of them to buy something for someone they never met... but how do I actually thank them? Please help!

I have 2 15yr old grls. They are both out of control and have no respect for authority. They don't go by curfew and run ins with the law is weekly. Grounding, restricted cell phone, tv, computer does not work. As soon as restrictions are lifted they disobey our rules again. They thrive my trust, but turn against it. The threat of indefiniate grounding for the summer made one run away. I am worried this will continue. We are seeing a therapist, its not working. They have their own mind and go with it. Any idea's of making it through the summer without having a nervous breakdown?

My 15 year old brother is very disrespectful to my mother. He lies, cheats, and steals. He use to be a good kid but now he has turned into a nightmare. He spends countless hours on the internet and has admitted to smoking weed one time. The family is pretty sure he is having sex also. ok i think i just might be prego...
heres the symptoms:
-tired all the time(its like i cant sleep enough)
-when i lay on my stomach it hurts, like cramps
-i pee alot
-i get this nauseas feeling every morning, and all day long
-i eat only a few bites and i get full
-my stomach is always cramping and hurting not only when i lay on it
-when i lay on my stomach iat night i get these pains in my boobs, and they just have been a lil tender not where they hurt just by touching them just tender...
-i have lower back pains, usually when my stomach hurts
ive gained a lil weight
and it kinda looks like ive gotten a tad bigger than i was, its a lil bigger around my abdomen area.
-headaches come more often
well thats all my symptoms..do u think i am??
