Cyclone's got the right answer. All the steroids they're injecting into the cows to put some more meat in them... the 'roids stay in the meat. Then they enter the human body upon consuption and stay there; they don't just disappear. So all those girls having periods when they're 9 and 10 years old... it's from eating stuff like McDonald's every day.

It's amazing how that's happening, I guess it's problem that starts with the parents then society. Parents are having children younger and youger, right now parents are more kids playing to be adults, therefor their children will act that way too. look at society and media, little kids want to look like adults, the way they dress, the way they act, etc. I remember when I was a kid, my mum used to dress me with little girl outfits, now a days, mothers dress their kids with miniskirts, tanks, see through stuff, etc. Kids as young as 8 or 9 are having sex and having children, again, kids playing to be grownups, and parents dont put a stop to it, cuz they figure out that the kids will just be rebels. There is something i hate about US laws..... parents cant correct their children because it is abuse, but when the little a**hole become drug addicts or gang members its ok!! I hate that!!! In other countries physical correction for kids is ok, not to the piont of killing them obviously but trust me that it works. I just wish there was more control over them and let them know whats right and wrong.

I think we shouldn't mix our terminology up. Today's youth are being exposed to more things than ever before in this era of information explosion, however, I don't think this translates to literally growing up faster. The human brain still takes years and experience as it always has to process and incorporate what it perceives into ones psyche. In many ways, it can be argued that kids today are growing up SLOWER and are far less mature for their ages than were previous generations, thanks to other social changes and liberalization of parenting.

As in....physically? Or mentally?
Mentally...because society puts so much pressure on us to grow up and become working members of society nowadays.
Physically...well look at all the hormones in our food (MEAT, MILK, CHEESE)
